Chapter Twenty-Six
Make Up
╚══════════╝

❝Dreams come true.❞

WILLIAM SIGHED AS HE wiped the sweat off his face, he had just finished fixing the ink machine as you requested from him. You told him that if he had to make up with you, he had to buy the stuff needed for the studio and fix a few (lot) of things around the building.

It was just a matter of couple of months for the grand opening of the studio.

Anyway, you went to your father and smiled at him with delight, "Thank you so much, dad. I'm grateful for your big help, the studio will be ready to open in a month or two." You told him with excitement in your voice. William chuckled and ruffled your hair, "No problem, dear. Anything else you want me to do?" He asked as he placed the wrench he used on the tool box. You shook your head as a reply, "Nope, I think that's all of for today. We will take it from here." You said with pride.

William nodded in understanding before his face became serious, "Now Y/N, I want you to do something for me." He spoke up, crossing his arms after that. You blinked in puzzlement with your head tilted, "What is it? I will do anything you want." You replied and then smiled cheerfully. However, you could see that your dad was dead serious, "You and Elizabeth have to talk about what happened and make up already." He stated in an almost demanding way. You were surprised by his request yet frowned, "I'm fine with her, she is the one who hates me." You reasoned, averting your gaze away from him. William sighed deep before pinching the bridge of his nose, "I know, Y/N, but you're the older sibling. You should always take the first step and make her see reason." He tried his best to convince and if you're being honest, you didn't want to trouble your father with such childish things.

William didn't like to see you fight with your sister for something as stupid as getting his attention. He obviously is the reason why Elizabeth is acting like this toward you, but he had changed now and he wants his family to be whole again. You sighed and nodded your head, "Alright, I will talk to her, but I can't promise that I won't fight back if she attacked me first." You agreed as the frown remained on your face. William seemed satisfied with your reply and smiled, "I know you would agree, let us go." With that being said, you two left the studio to go back home.

"What? But daddy-..."

"No buts Elizabeth, I'm tired to this stupid arguments. You and Y/N must solve this problem and quickly."

Your sister pouted and stomped her foot in a bratty way. William raised an eyebrow, "Elizabeth, you're not a baby. You should stop acting like that and solve your issues with your sibling. I will be back later to check on you two, and no fighting." He stated before leaving the room without adding anything else. He closed the door and locked it so none of you would leave the room unless this problem is dealt with. You two stood in the middle of room in an intense silence, the two of you glaring at each other for a few minutes. Elizabeth squinted her eyes to sharpen her glare, "I can't tolerate standing with you in the same house let alone the same room." She spoke up with a harsh voice tone.

You rolled your eyes and crossed your arms, "You're so childish, why do you hate me that much?" You protested which made Elizabeth upset more. She growled as she clenched her fists, "I already told you! Because of you, daddy doesn't give me attention!" She exclaimed while gritting her teeth.

"Do you really believe that I'm doing this on purpose?"

"Yeah, I'm believe so."

"Do you now?"

For a moment, Elizabeth showed hesitation. However, she quickly shook her head and composed herself, "I'm sure of it, you're the reason why daddy doesn't even look at me." She confirmed with her glare still on her face. You sighed in annoyance, "Look Lizzy, all I did was acting normal. Honestly now, when did you see go and talk to dad who is always busy?" You questioned, sounding a bit more calm. Elizabeth opened her mouth to answer, but she never found her reply. You were right, she couldn't recall a time you actually went and talked to William. He would be the one asking about you and wanting to see you almost everyday. Your sister averted her gaze away from you, clearly uncertain of what to think or believe. You approached her and placed your hand on her should, "Elizabeth, I never seeked to take dad's attention from you. You saw me with your own eyes how I spent my time either studying or working in the studio back in time. I don't want us to fight anymore, let's be sibling back again." You said with a smile on your face.

Elizabeth looked up at you and she could see who genuine you were. Maybe she was wrong about you being a bad sibling. Here you are trying to rebuild your bonds again while she was pushing you away. The young girl let out a breath and nodded, "Okay, I don't want to fight with you anymore honestly." She said with a small smile on her face. You chuckled and hugged her, taking her off gaurd, "I'm happy to be in good terms with you." You happily exclaimed. Elizabeth was unsure of what to do, but she slowly raised her arms and hugged you back while having a small grin. Unbeknown to you that William was listening to your conversation with a smile on his face.

Finally and after years, the two of you made up and your argument has came to an end. His plan had worked perfectly.
