There was a brief silence that filled the room after we pulled away from the kiss, ending with Nardo pushing me.

"Why would you do that gay ass shit.. I'm not fuckin with that!" He yelled, punching at my chest. He wiped his lips off and went into the bathroom, turning on the shower.

I had always been attracted to Nardo, even though it took me a while to come to terms with it. I even went as far as having a fling with his old girl, to try and convince myself I was tripping. Clearly, it didn't work.

I seen an opportunity with us rooming together so I took it.

Nardo swung the bathroom door open, storming out. "Kali wanna hit the mall." He said dryly, grabbing his keys to walk out the door.

I grabbed my wallet and closed the door, jogging after him. "Aye slow down!" No response. "So you just gon go from having my tongue down your throat to not speaking to me?" I said yanking him by his shirt. He by force turned around and rolled his eyes.

"Stop bitching me like I'm some soft ass nigga." He pulled his shirt out of my grasp and kept walking through the building. So that's what this shit about. As we made it through the building, we got towards the back portion, where it was usually pretty empty. We'd always take this back door whenever we felt like leaving since it was closer to the other colleges than the front of the building. I walked up behind Nardo, wrapping my arms around his waist. Before I could lean over to kiss on his neck, I felt his elbow digging into my stomach.

"Told you I'm not gay." He said smacking his teeth.

"Why you let me kiss you then?"

"It was a mistake. I wasn't thinking forreal and it ain't gon ever happen again." He turnt away and pushed open the door, for us to exit.

"So you ain't gon trip when I do me?" I bit my lip, hoping he'd say he would, but of course I was wrong.

He eyed me for a second and responded. "I really don't give a fuck who or what you do, dent head." No way this nigga said dent head. I repositioned my hair back over my forehead to cover the indents and shrugged my shoulders.

Kali came from around the corner, with an unfamiliar guy. He was lightskin and had a faded haircut, with a full beard. I connected pieces together, remembering that I'd seen him at the party and around Atlanta.

"Guys, this is Greg. I met him in the dining hall the other day. He gon tag along and drive us." He looked at us and shot a smile.

I dapped him up and walked over to the car, waiting for the door to be unlocked. He went to dap up Nardo but was met with a cold stare.

"Kali, can you sit back here with me?" Nardo said as he noticed her walking to the passenger seat. I chuckled and decided to take it as some time to bond with Greg.

"So, what you do?" I said turning my attention to him. "I actually play football at Clark." He pulled his shirt up, exposing a jersey underneath which caused me to give him a look of shock.
