chapter 17

"Come on Luke, I'm hungry." I whined as we stood outside of a little diner.

Somehow someone knew we were going to this diner and tweeted it out so of course we got stopped by fans. I didn't hate the fans it just gets annoying when Luke and I can't even go to breakfast with out getting stopped. Luke was too nice to say no to them but sometimes I wish he wasn't that nice. I would never get mad at him or anything for stopping to take pictures with his fans but I slightly get annoyed.

"Alright, sorry babe." he whispered to me as he rubbed my arm and turned back to the huge group of squealing teens, "Sorry everybody but me and my girlfriend are going to go eat now. It would be nice if you wouldn't bother us while we eat please." I smiled at how sweet he was.

We heard a few groans but as we walked into the diner everyone of the teens dispersed.

"Sorry about that." Luke said as we sat down.

"No need to. I know it means a lot to them and its part of your job." I smiled at him, earning one back.

"Well, lets order. What are you gunna get?" Luke asked as we picked up our menus.

"I'm not sure, probably waffles and a coffee." I put my menu down and looked across the table at Luke.

He looked stunning even though it was only eight in the morning and we were both wearing sweats. His hair wasn't pushed up like usual, instead it rested on his forehead like when he was younger. His blue eyes concentrated on the menu and I couldn't help but keep staring. Although there were some down sides to dating this bread stick, nothing could change how I feel about him. He's just so sweet and wonderful. My thoughts were interrupted as the waiter came up to take our order.

"Are you guys ready or do you need a minute?" I looked up at a boy around our age looking a little impatient.

"I think we're ready." Luke and I nodded.

"Alright, what will you take sir?" He looked over to Luke

"I'll take two pancakes, eggs, and bacon with an orange juice." Luke put down his menu and then the waiter looked to me next.

"And what would you like, darling." I cringed at the name he called me before ordering.

"I'll take a Belgian waffle and a coffee, please." I smiled up at the man before handing him my menu.

"Of course, anything for a pretty lady." The waiter said before walking away. Confused, I looked over to Luke who had his fists balled up and was sending a death glare to the waiter.

"What just happened?" I kind of chuckled hoping to ease the tension.

"The waiter just hit on my fucking girlfriend, that's what happened." Luke said through gritted teeth. I put my hand on Luke's balled up fists hoping to get his attention. He looked at our hands before meeting my eyes.

"Calm down Lukey." I said smiling at him and squeezing his hand. He intertwined our fingers before glaring once more at the waiter and then smiling back at me.

"Is Calum and Lexie ever going to join us?" Luke whined as we both looked out the window to see a steaming mad Lexie and a group of teens crowding Calum. 

"Oh." We both said in unison.

Finally, Lexie stomped in with Calum still struggling to get away from the fans.

"Hey guys," Lexie said as I scooted over for her to sit in the booth with us, "I swear those fans are going to steal Calum away from me." Lexie groaned as she sat down and put her face in her hands.

"They couldn't, he likes you too much." Luke said and smiled at her.

"Whatever Luke." She groaned as Calum came and sat next to Luke. Lexie didn't even need to take her head out of her hands to know he had sat down. 

The waiter walked over to take Calum's and Lexie's order, as he walked over he winked at me and i cringed. I don't need this disgusting boy flirting with me, I already have Luke.

"Well, this pretty girl has so many friends. What can i get for you two." He said and I immediately tensed up. Lexie ordered before looking over at me as I focused on my coffee cup.

"What the hell was that?" Calum asked once the waiter walked away.

"What the fuck is up with that guy?" Luke said through gritted teeth. 

"Oooo someone likes you." Lexie laughed at how mad Luke was. She liked to tease Luke as did everyone in his band.

"Yeah, and that someone is me not some gross waiter. He's not even in a cool band." Luke was all red and mad. I found it pretty funny.

"I think cool is an overstatement." Calum laughed and Luke glared at him.

"Whatever." Luke scoffed and started scrolling through his phone.

"Lukey, don't be mad." I said and grabbed his hand which he immediately pulled away from me and put back on his phone to continue scrolling and ignoring me.

Right then, all of our food came along with the flirtatious waiter. Luke looked up before looking back down and rolling his eyes and scoffing.

"Here's the Belgian waffles." The waiter said with a wink. Luke happened to see and scoffed once again. "Here are the pancakes and eggs." 

"Excuse me, i'd also like you to stop flirting with my girlfriend. It's really bugging me that you have the fucking nerve to wink and shit." Luke said causing Calum, Lexie, and I to all start laughing. The waiter looked confused and gave Lexie and Calum their food before quickly walking away.

"Wow, real ballsy Luke." Calum laughed causing Luke to look extremely embarrassed which was sort of cute.

I grabbed Luke's hand which he accepted this time, intertwining our fingers and looking up at me. "I thought that was very cute Luke, thank you." I said smiling, "but I also think you have no room to get jealous. I mean i have to deal with all these fans hugging you and saying they love you and kissing you for pictures all the time and I never get jealous but one time a freaking waiter calls me pretty you get super pissy. Thats no fair Luke." Luke's entire face dropped and Lexie just nodded in agreement.

"Sorry." I said shrugging.

Sorry I haven't updated in so long! Theres really no excuse except that I keep getting stuck and hating everything I write lol. 

ACTUALLY READ THIS!! ITS IMPORTANT!!!

So, this might be the last chapter. This fic isnt going anywhere and I really don't like it tbh. I've thought of wayyyy better fanfic's that have good plot and shit unlike this one. So i think its a waste of time to continue writing this shitty ones when I could use that time writing better ones. 

Sorry if i disappointed anyone but lol this has been my first real fic so obviously its going to suck. But PLEASE go read my other fics like 'Anxiety' my Louis fic. I also have started writing another one that I will release soon called 'Camp Tomlinson' which is another Louis one. I have another unreleased one called 'Celebrity' which is a Luke fanfic. Please go check those out they're wayyyy better than this one!
