Pov- Noor

It has been 3 weeks since my engagement has happened.

And the very next day Karan left for London because of some project but still we talk on phone daily it's more like me taking and he will only anyways tomorrow we will be leaving for Delhi as from day after tomorrow our weeding functions are going to start and Karan will directly reach day after tomorrow there.

These three weeks have been so much hectic the weeding shopping,then packing and then office work but still I managed it and now I am doing my last minute packing.

( Next day)

It was 12:00pm and we reached Delhi and now we are going to Karan's ancestral haveli because Ragini aunty(Karan's mother) said that in their family all the weddings happen in that haveli only.

After an hour we reached there and it was so beautiful haveli exactly same like the haveli which they show on movies

Then we went inside and there was Karan's family standing at the entrance with Ragini aunty in the middle with an aarti plate.

Then she did our aarti and everyone welcomed us. Then after some chitchat everyone retired to their rooms.

And as I reached the room I called Karan to ask when will he come tomorrow because I was missing him a lot.

" hello meri jaan pohach gaye app" he said as soon he  attended the call

"ji pohach gaye Karan app kab ayenge Hume bhot yaad aa rahi h apki" I said

"jaan I am trying my best to complete the work so that after the wedding I can spend time with you but still I will try to reach till tommorow night" he said

"what is this Karan tommorow night did you forget that in the morning it is our mehandi "  "ek kaam kare app aao hi mat udhar hi rahe jao ma kisi or se kar lungi shaddi" she said and Karan jaw clenched after hearing that

"Noor don't you dare to say  that thing again" he said and Noor cut the call in anger and she went downstairs

She saw her mother in law there she smiled at her but her smile doesn't reach her eyes. "Noor beta what happened you are looking sad " she asked

"nothing aunty " Noor said

" first of all stop calling me aunty every time and come sit here " she told her and went and sat with her

"now tell what that idiot son of mine has done" she asked and Noor said with teary eyes "I am missing him and he said that he will come tomorrow at night he will not come at our mehandi it has been 3 weeks since I last saw him I know work is important and he is overworking only to spend time with me after marriage but he should not have missed our mehandi" then her mother in law make her understood the thing and as they were talking Karan's badi mummy came with her husband and with Karan's father

"haw ragini tum akele akele humari Bahu se bonding kar rahi ho yeh tho cheating h humne bhi karni h " his badi mummy said

" nhi badi mummy asa kuch nhi h app bhi aao apn sab mil kar batte karte h " and Noor along with Karan's family started talking and then his family was telling Noor about Karan's childhood story meanwhile Rahul secretly took their photos and send it to karan

They all were so ingrossed in their talks that when it got night form evening they didn't even realise after that they had their dinner and everyone departed to their rooms

The whole haveli was decorated with beautiful flowers and lights now was mehandi ceremony.Everone were there and all were enjoying.
