"Yeah, way to keep the spirits up guys." Alvin said as he just walked out of the forest and started to hand his siblings and friends pieces of bark.

"Ah...what's this?" asked Brittany eyeing her piece of bark.

"Breakfast!"

"It's bark?"

"Yeah! For breakfast!" Alvin said grinning cheerfully.

"Oh, I bet it's good!" Jeanette said taking a bite out of the bark and then spitting it out . "It's not."

"Crazy idea guys," Simon said, "Lets get off this beach and find real food!"

----------------------

"Their moving!" Said the blonde female chipmunk.

"Come on, we need to catch up to them!" whispered the blonde male chipmunk.

The 4 chipmunks hid in the trees as the 6 chipmunk teenagers were trying to locate food.

----------------------

"If I know my horticulture, and I do? These are a grove of mango trees?" Simon explained to his brothers and the girls.

"Then where are all the mangoes then?" Alvin asked his intelligent brother.

"Maybe the jungle monster Thor ate them all?" Theodore suggested shrinking a tinny bit as he walked on.

"Good grief!" Simon muttered under his breath.

Alvin glanced at the tree tops, thinking he heard something shifting, until he saw a mango and quickly made his way up to it, plucking it from the stem and positioning himself to take a bite.

"You were planning on sharing that weren't you?" Brittany asked behind him.

Alvin slowly turned around with a guilty grin plastered on his face, "Of course!"

"Good, because it looked like you were going to eat it all by yourself?" Brittany crossed her arms.

Alvin shyly chuckled, "I would never do that!"

"I don't believe you!"

Brittany sprinted towards Alvin and grabbed the mango from his grasp, and started running across the branch, but Alvin jumped down from the branch above her and grabbed the mango back, doing that troublemaker laugh of his, and ran the opposite way. Brittany grabbed a vine and started to swing around the tree until she stole the mango again, Alvin did the same and also grabbed the mango, but was too busy laughing at Brittany getting tangled in the vine to notice that he was heading right at a tree.

"My acorns!" Alvin muttered, and dropped the mango, which Theodore was just standing staring at the oldest of triplets, and then staring at the mango in front of him.

"Way to go, Theodore! Come on, we'll split it!" Alvin told his younger brother.

"Don't listen to him, Theo! He gonna eat it all by himself! I'll share it with you!" Brittany told Theodore.

"No! She's trying to trick you!"

"No, you're trying to trick him!"

"No, you're trying to trick him by saying I'm trying to trick him!" Alvin said now focusing his attention on Brittany.

"Don't listen to him, Theo!" Brittany said now focusing her attention back to the younger chipmunk but realizing he was gone, "Theo?"

"What?" Alvin also said in a confused manor.

-------------------------

"The little one's name is Theodore!" Said the brown female chipmunks.

"There are many chipmunks that name are Theodore?" the golden male chipmunk told her, "We need to find out what the others names are?"

When they found the 6 chipmunks they were all wrestling for the mango, until the tallest female with the glasses got on top and managed to steel the mango from everyone and jumped up onto the rock behind them, "Stop it! Look at us, one day on this island and we became...animals!"

"Jeanette's right, even though we are animals, she is right, we're family! Why are we fighting! Over food to be exact!" The tall brown male chipmunk with glasses raised his voice over the angry chatter.

The blonde female chipmunk and the brown male chipmunk gasped when they heard what the girl's name was.

"Yeah, you are right," The middle height male chipmunk admitted, "Okay, Eleanor and Theodore you go collect food, Simon and Jeanette you start on the shelter, and Brittany and I will start collecting materials to make a boat to get out of here."

"When did you get so sensible, Alvin?" Simon asked his older brother.

The brown female chipmunk sat up against the tree, "I told you, they are our children!" She told the golden furred chipmunk.

"And ours!" The blonde chipmunk almost jumping up and down with excitement.

"What's the point, they won't be happy to see us, especially since we left early!" The golden furred chipmunk said.

"Please, I was so worried ever since I saw that the tree was gone when we came back!" The brown female chipmunk said, "And they can sing!"

"Sally, it doesn't change anything!"

"Mandy, Scott, please help me!" Sally asked the other two chipmunks.

"Ray, she's right, we need to talk to them!" Mandy told her friend's husband.

"Fine! But we'll wait until tomorrow."

-----------------------------(Listen to the song up top)

Chipmunks: Where is the moment we needed the most?
You kick up the leaves and the magic is lost.
They tell me your blue skies fade to grey.
They tell me your passion's gone away.
And I don't need no carryin' on.

You stand in the line just to hit a new low.
You're faking a smile with the coffee to go.
You tell me your life's been way off line.
You're falling to pieces everytime.
And I don't need no carryin' on.

Because you had a bad day.
You're taking one down.
You sing a sad song just to turn it around.
You say you don't know.
You tell me don't lie.
You work at a smile and you go for a ride.
You had a bad day.
The camera don't lie.
You're coming back down and you really don't mind.
You had a bad day.
Oh, you had a bad day.

Well you need a blue sky holiday.
The point is they laugh at what you say.
And I don't need no carryin' on.

You had a bad day.
You're taking one down.
You sing a sad song just to turn it around.
You say you don't know.
You tell me don't lie.
You work at a smile and you go for a ride.
You had a bad day.
The camera don't lie.
You're coming back down and you really don't mind.
You had a bad day.

(Oh... Holiday)

Sometimes the system goes on the blink.
And the whole thing turns out wrong.
You might not make it back and you know.
That you could be well oh that strong.
I'm not wrong (yeah, yeah, yeah, yeeeah).

So where is the passion when you need it the most?
Oh you and I.
You kick up the leaves and the magic is lost.

Cause you had a bad day.
You're taking one down.
You sing a sad song just to turn it around.
You say you don't know.
You tell me don't lie.
You work at a smile and you go for a ride.
You had a bad day.
You've seen what you like.
And how does it feel for one more time?
You had a bad day.
You had a bad day.

-----------------------------

The chipmunks sang before they settled down and finally going to sleep, not knowing that tomorrow is the biggest day they had in a while.
