Part 3: Will they forgive?

"I'm almost certain that I hear something?" Alvin said as he and his brothers were searching for food for the girls.

"Like what, Alvin?" Simon asked his older sibling, "The only organisms here are either insects, other rodents and birds? And I very much doubt that they will have the ability to talk?"

"What if it's the jungle monster!" Theodore said slowly making his way behind the middle child.

"Theodore, there are no such things as jungle monsters? It's just a movie and Dave says you shouldn't believe everything that you see in a movie?"

"But, we use to just be myth, a made up tale right. Because nobody would believe that chipmunks could talk? And they could make a movie about it!" Theodore suggested.

"Theodore, We have many other human capabilities that normal chipmunks don't have? We think like a human, we talk like a human and we age like a human? By my estimates we properly have some sort of human genetics?" Simon told him.

"Wait, doesn't that mean we are related to the Chipettes!?" Alvin quivered at the thought.

"Not necessarily, technically everyone is related, we could be related to the Chipettes but 50 times removed? Dave and Claire could be 2nd cousins and not even realize it? It doesn't really matter, unless you are siblings, 1st cousins, aunts, uncles, parents, grandparents, it'll just be creepy!" 

"Okay can we stop talking about our bloodline and finish finding breakfast!" 

"Yeah, it's getting cold and I want to go back to the fire." Theodore told his older brothers.

"I really think I hear something!" Alvin said determinedly moving his ears trying to get better listen.

"Yeah same!" Theodore cried.

"Come on!" 

They ran back to the camp to were the girls were still sleeping and woke them up and told them about the noise.

"Does that mean there's something out there?" Eleanor asked shifting slightly behind Jeanette.

"We should look for it?" Alvin suggested.

"No!" The other 5 yelled back. 

"But they could help us search for way off this island?"

"Come on, there all together! We need to see them!" Sally said starting making her way down the tree followed by Mindy and Scott, "Come on, Ray!"

Ray sighed and slowly followed the others. They stopped right at the border of the beach and the forest.

"As I said for the millionth time, Alvin, we love you, but you need to think of the dangers before doing them and stop being such a trouble maker!" Simon told his older brother, "You are the whole reason why we are on this island in the first place, you should of just played shuffle board, Dave will properly never find us because of you!" 

"It's not just my fault, You should be less uptight and let us have fun, we're kids! We're meant to have fun!" Alvin yelled at his brother.

"I wonder how we are brothers! And you are older than me to be exact!" Simon said before he stormed off.

"I'll try and calm him down." Jeanette said before following her counter part.

"Maybe we should wait until they calm down?" Said Mindy.

They've waited 2 days until they calmed down and they've finally apologized.

"Okay, now's our chance!" Sally told the other 3 chipmunks and they slowly made their way to 6 other chipmunks, who's backs were turned to them. 

"Um, hello?" Sally said.

The six jumped around at the new voice and were faced with 4 unfamiliar chipmunks.

"W-who are you?" Simon asked.

"Well my name is Sally, This is my husband, Ray, and our friend Mindy and Scott, who are married." Sally said.

"Um, my name is Simon, this is-" 

"Yes, we know who you are." 

"Oh, you must be fans?" Alvin asked.

"What? No, we've known you 6 since you were born?"

"So you knew our parents?" Theodore asked.

"You can say that?" Mindy said.

"Ah, give me a break, Theodore! They are our parents!" Simon said, "By my guess Mindy and Scott are the Chipettes parents and Sally and Ray are ours? I'm right aren't we?"

"You are very intelligent, Simon?" Ray said, "I take it he got that off me?" 

Theodore was about to run up to his parents but Alvin and Simon put their arm in front of him to stop him, while the chipettes just watched from the background.

"Yeah, we're not trusting you. If you guys stayed the full week, then maybe? But you didn't." Alvin said turning around.

"What happened to your ear!" Sally asked, her mother instincts kicking in.

"Why should care?" 

"We came back for you, but the tree was gone! We thought you 6 died!" Sally said.

"What do you mean by 6! We only met the chipmunks a year ago?" Brittany asked putting her hand on her hip.

"What?" Asked Mindy, "You 6 were born all in the same tree, on the same day and hour."

"Hehe, Sorry guys." Alvin nervously said.

"What, you knew!" Brittany said.

"No, I didn't know it was you guys! But I knew that there was six of us at the start." Alvin explained, "A day after our parents left, you 3 got taken by an eagle, that's were I got this nip in my ear, I was trying to protect you!" 

Brittany turned to their parents, "Leave us alone, we are waiting for our dad, REAL dad, to rescue us, and then we will go back into civilization, go to the International music awards and go back to being the biggest rock band in the world." 

The 6 chipmunks turned around and started to walk back to the beach.

"I told you, they wouldn't forgive us."
