Pablo was currently in a villa in Tenerife with his friends. After an exhausting season of football, fellow teammates and friends decided it would be the best to rent a house somewhere and just relax for two weeks.

Among his friends was Pedri and his little sister Y/n. Pedri introduced Pablo to y/n two years ago when he came over for the first time. They got along perfectly from the start as they were the same age, so it was no wonder y/n would tag along.

All six were gathered around a small table in their garden next to the pool and were playing some kind of card game. Between breaks they would jump into the pool behind them to cool off. As they proceeded in another round of card games, y/n got fed up with the game as she didn't fully understand how it worked and always lost. Since the game was still on but Pablo finished first, he decided to help his teammates sister a bit.

"Let me help you y/n" Gavi asked as he scootched closer to her.

Happy now that someone finally helped her, she slid closer to him too, so their heads both could hide behind the stack of cards in her hands. Some of her friends complained that y/n got help but she couldn't care less, she liked being near him.

As the game went on, y/n gradually lost more and more cards and wasn't losing anymore. Pedri lost this round and made a big fuss about it. Clearly, he was a sore loser.

"That's not fair y/n your boyfriend helped you every round!" Pedri exclaimed, teasing the two of them. Their friends erupted in laughter but Y/n and Gavi grew red like a tomato. They swiftly glanced at each other before erupting in laughter too.

"You're just a sore loser Pedri." Y/n replied cheekily making Gavi grin.

"I'm a sore loser?" Pedri asked his sister and stood up slowly from the other side of the table.

Y/n got up too, hiding from her evil brother as she knew he would throw her into the pool. It wasn't her intention to go swimming again, as she had showered this morning.

Pedri was now chasing his sister around the table, making their friends laugh at the scene.

"Gavi I'm not driving you to practice anymore if you don't help me." Pedri warned in a playful tone. Gavi got the hint and got up too, chasing his friend's sister in the big backyard.

"I thought you were on my side Pablo!!" Y/n screamed as she ran away from both boys.

A cocky grin flashed Gavis face as he reached her and swiftly placed an arm around Y/n's waist holding her tightly against his body before picking her up in bridal style.

"I would be on your side but who will drive me to practice then?" Gavi answered, lowering his head to whisper into her ear. She chuckled at his words but became serious shortly after again, as they stood now too close to the edge of the pool.

"Please I washed my hair." Y/n pleaded as she placed one hand on his biceps for support.

"You can wash it again hermosa, we're on holiday." Gavi said as he took another step towards the edge.

Their friends behind them encouraged Gavi even more so only a few seconds later, the two of them were submerged in the water. As they reached the surface, Gavi picked her up again, so her arms were around his neck. The places where Gavi held her were hot and y/n kind of enjoyed it even though her hair was wet and her make-up slightly smudged.
He let go of Y/n and both got out of the pool. Gavi looked for a towel to give her and wrapped her in it.

As no-one watched, he placed a quick kiss on her head and rubbed her sides.

"Watch out Gavira." Y/n spoke ironically, leaving him to take a second shower of the day.

Gavi really liked Pedris little sister and sensed his best friend wouldn't actually mind if he asked her out.

"Hermano, can I speak to you quickly?" Pablo asked, as he popped his head into his friends room.

"Whats up?" He answered casually.

"So before I do what I wanted to do, I figured I have to ask you first. You may have realized it already but I really like your sister and I was wondering if I could ask her to go on a date with me." Gavi was rambling so hard he had to take a deep breath to settle.

"As long as you treat her nicely I don't mind. I'm actually glad you do something about your little crush." Pedri answered and patted his shoulder.

With a smile he walked over to y/n's room and knocked lightly on it.

"Come in." She replied.

She stood in front of of the mirror, doing some light make-up as she saw Gavi standing awkwardly in her room. He sat down, patting the spot next to him for her.

"Are you busy tonight?" He asked cautiously.

She shook her head, already assuming what was about to come.

"Well, I wanted to ask if you would like to go somewhere with me tonight. Just the two of us."

"I would like that, yes." Y/n said and pulled him to his feet.

When they both were ready, Gavi drove them to the beach, leaving their friends at home. The sun was about to set as they made their way to a bar to grab something to drink. They enjoyed their time together until it was late and headed back to their shared house. The walk back was quiet but Gavi took the chance and interlaced his fingers with hers until they reached the car.

Back at the house, Gavi accompanied the girl back to her room.

"I really enjoyed spending time with you alone. We should do that more often." Y/n spoke, looping her arms around his neck as he held her waist once again.

"I would love to take you on more dates Y/n." He replied as they gazed into each others eyes.

Y/n smiled and gathered all her courage to stand on her tiptoes and placed a sweet kiss on his lips. It didn't take Gavi long until he kissed her back. The kiss was short but tender, filled with nothing but love.

"Goodnight Gavira." Y/n smirked, placing a hand onto the door handle and disappeared into the room.

"Goodnight little Gonzalez." Gavi said, standing there in awe.
