18yrs ago...
-"Kyle, what are the losses?" breathed out alpha Jake.
-"Alpha, the crescent moon pack has been wiped out clean........they are dead" replied Kyle shaking from the loss. The attack so was so fierece and strong and off guard that the packs barely had time to defend anyone. "The Black moon pack lost their Luna and 33 other werewolves. and the Shadows pack lost both their Luna and Alpha, along with their pups and all those who reside at their pack house..... They sneaked in and wiped them out during their sleep, the filth"
Kyle was breathing heavily. He thanked the moon goddess nothing happened to is mate and his young pups, for the pain in those who did was beyond horrible....
-"3 warriors where killed from our pack along with 7 pups.........Alpha, I think I should go to the shadow pack and see if I could help in anyway, seeing that their beta is in charge for now..."
-"alright then......did you put down the flames?........ take two warriors with you and go help everyone who needs help, and take the pack doctor too..... and Kyle.... look for my sister too see if she is okay" he quietly told him.
-"alpha" acknowleged Kyle, and left.
Last night's events was a catastrophe the no one would forget for ever. and will impact them for a long time, and the loss they endured would last their life. the sun silently climbed to the sky. Two hours... why couldnt it rise just 2 hours earlier, thought Jake exasperated as he watched the sun rise.....
The loss, the pain, the guilt, the rage and the anger filled everyone that survived the attack. The fifteenth of december was a day to be grieved and remembered..
The day we received a grim reminder that we are not the only Supernatural creature running the earth, and that they are terrifying and evil in more ways than to count.

this flashback is something that happened in the Great War as you could concluded, thus is only one if the many to come, each from different parts where the attack started and ended, and the reactions and allowing you to see the amount of loss.
