Episode Title: "Beginning of the Star-change"
The episode begins with a stunning view of the cosmos, shifting quickly to focus on the Lor Starcutter, damaged but still functional. Inside, we find Magolor, a egg-shaped alien with a mischievous grin but sorrowful eyes, a former antagonist now seeking a path to redemption.
Experiencing the aftermath of his actions in Kirby's Return to Dreamland, Magolor is filled with guilt and remorse. He has deceived Kirby, manipulating him for the completion of his evil plans, effectively destroying the Erewhon of joy upheld.
We flashback to a few scenes from his past mishaps, his cunning, and deceit. They torment Magolor, imploring him to set his wrongs right, beginning his journey to redemption.
Magolor decides to set his journey towards Popstar, Kirby's home planet, hoping that he would be granted forgiveness and given an opportunity to reform. His journey isn't easy, facing harsh cosmic storms and mental trials of regret and guilt.
Towards the end of the episode, Magolor crash lands on Popstar, on the outskirts of Dreamland. Shaken but undeterred, he steps out of the Starcutter, vowing to himself to fix the hurts and trusts he had broken.
In the distance, he sees Kirby happily playing with his friends, unnoticed as of yet. A knot of fear in his stomach, Magolor moves forward, determined to prove his changed heart.
As the episode ends, we see the mask of deceit has fallen, revealing a Magolor who’s genuinely remorseful and ready to make amends.
