Kotoha froze in fear tried to fire another shot but ultimately failed.
"Is that the best you can do," the dragon shouted frost was leaving his voice, then started breaking the arrow.
"Catch," he yelled throwing the broken arrow out of the cave.
She grabbed a shield that was laying on the ground. Holding it in a defensive position and deflected the arrow.
"You know I've got quite the collection of victims in here!"
"I won't be added to it, or die trying!" Her voice echoed in the cave.
"I've given you my finale warning!" As the dragon pinned her down.
Kotoha closed her eyes and waited for the kill but it didn't happen...instead she opened her eyes to see a blonde haired man wearing nothing but brown raggedy pants.
"Tell me what is the polite daughter of the southern King doing here. Trying to kill your first dragon to impress your father?"
"No," she gasped out trying not to blush.
"Then tell me what are you trying to gain.!?"
....well I—truth is I want to escape my dumb marriage arrangement that my father arranged."
He sighed and removed his arm from the female knight letting her up. She rolled to his side grabbing her sword moaning and grunting in pain as she moved getting to her feet.
"Well maybe I can help?," he said as she holding her sword ready to fight, "What will it be Knight?"
"What's the alternative," Kotoha asked her voice and body showing how exhausted she was.
"A partnership," he said, "I attack a village without really harming anyone except for your dumb suitors then you appear slay the dragon, but I end up eating your suitors , snatching you up for a week for a song or two and don't worry I'll return you home.
She looked up at the frost dragon with raised eyebrows 'What was he thinking? What is he planing?' "A partnership," the female knight asked clearly wanting to get some rest.
"Yes you get your marriage freedom and in return for my assistance you will not harm me and give you my word that I nor my dragon friends will bring you any harm,"
"Shall we start our partnership in the next month in the morning," she asked the dragon."
"Agreed.
"I already have a village in mind not too far away from here for the dumb date," the female knight said sheathing her sword.
"Very well my name is upper moon two but you may call me douma," douma said shifting back to dragon form before turning away and walking back further into the ice cave.
