• DELYTHENA KOBAYASHI •
THE KITSUNE

𝐋𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐓𝐎 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐌𝐀𝐍 𝐒𝐇𝐄 𝐊𝐍𝐎𝐖 𝐊𝐍𝐄𝐖 𝐀𝐒 𝐋𝐔𝐅𝐅𝐘'𝐒 𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐘, Delythena couldn't believe her ears at how eager he was to partake in such a dangerous profession.

The only examples of pirates the two had were Alvida's crew and those they'd pillaged, plundered, and maimed when they invaded other ships.

"I don't get it," Koby spoke with a slight squint of his eyes, he couldn't believe anyone would want to be a filthy pirate. "why would anyone want to be a pirate?"

Despite the disgust that riddled Koby, the smile on Luffy's face only grew wider as he continued to eat on the turkey leg in his hand.

"Cause it's the best thing there is," The straw hat-wearing man spoke with a large smile on his face, a look of serenity and peace as he spoke on how it felt. "you have the...the wind on your back, the salty sea air, your loyal crew by side."

Hearing his words Delythena couldn't help but wonder what her life could be like if she was out there, with the wind on her back.

She'd never known anything other than her small home village and Alvida's Ship, could the sea be as free as this stranger claimed it was?

"You never know what's on the horizon," Luffy continued passionately as he closed his eyes, thinking about what he'd been chasing his whole life. "it's all about being... free."

Free, a term that Delythena knew nothing about.

"Free," Delythena spoke under her breath mostly, yet still softly grabbing the attention of both of the teens in front of her. "I've never been free."
