"I don't want to hear it." Maggie said as she went to end the call, pressing the end call button

"So babe, who was that?" KJ asked
"Brennan." Maggie said softly, adverting her gaze from him
"What the fuck did he want?" KJ asked as he felt his hand ball up in a fist
"To tell me he still has feelings for-." Maggie said before she saw KJ walk to the door "Babe, don't."
"No, he hurt you before, I don't want him to hurt you again." KJ said as he stormed out
"Babe.." Maggie said as she went after him
"No, he hurt you and I'm gonna hurt him." KJ said
"Kage.." Maggie said as she reached for his hand
"I said..." He spoke softly but soon shook his head "I'll be back. I promise." He whispered as he kissed her softly "Don't wait up for me."
Maggie nodded as she soon went back inside and closed the door behind her

Maggie starts to clean up dishes and looks at Brennan
Brennan puts his plate in the sink and walks away "Why are you so pissed off?"
Maggie continues to wash the dishes "I'm not pissed off, who said I was pissed off?"
"Cause you're acting pissed off." Brennan said
Maggie looks up for a second
"It's ridiculous. These are my friends and they were super fucking nice to you, too." Brennan said
"Well, I liked your friends, I never said I didn't like your friends." Maggie said
"Why are you being—." Brennan said
"I didn't like the way you acted around them." Maggie said
"You were being weird and quiet the entire time!" Brennan said
"I was not being weird!" Maggie yelled
"Yes you were!" Brennan said
"Because you wouldn't look at me!" Maggie said
"Oh, come on." Brennan said
"You could ask me one thing the entire night." Maggie said
"Such bullshit. That's such bullshit." Brennan said
"You dropped my fucking hand! What am I supposed to do with that?" Maggie asked
"I don't even fucking notice. What are you talking about? I dropped your hand?" Brennan asked
