Maggie knew exactly what she was doing, the moment she put her hand on Niall's shoulder, laughing a little too loudly at a joke he made

"Niall, you're too funny." She squeezed his shoulder lightly

She could feel Harry's green eyes piercing in the back of her head. She turned around to look She turned to look back and see if her gut was right. The moment they both made eye contact she saw Harry's eyes burning her with a warning look, to which she replied with a wink causing his jaw to twitch in irritation.

If Harry wasn't going to give her the attention she wanted, she would go to someone who she knows would.

Her boyfriend Harry invited her to this party, she got all dressed up in a beautiful emerald dress and he wore a handsome tux with an emerald tie that matched her dress. Everything was fine the vibes were set, but the moment he got the two drinks and saw his good friend Florence at the bar it's as if she disappeared or no longer existed.

She sighed and walked over to him taking the drink from his hand that he was supposed to bring to you and chugged it down before she made her way over to Niall, her favorite Irishman. Which now led her into the situation she's in.

"Would you like to get another drink Niall?" She smiled her award winning smile at him

"Of course Mags." He laid his hand on her lower back to help lead her through the small crowd of people.

Niall was one of her best friends she was acquainted with him even before Harry, so she knew he wouldn't dare make a move on her. Harry being the guy he is felt his blood run cold when he saw them both approach the bar with Niall's hand pressed against her lower back.

As they both ordered drinks and continued chatting, she could still feel Harry's burning gaze. Now she exists once another man is giving her attention. Ridiculous.

Niall grabbed their drinks once they were ready and handed her, hers catching the glare Harry was burning the both of them

"You should see the look on Harold's face right now." He leaned closer to her face so only she could hear him.

"I don't know why he's so angry all of a sudden he seemed to be pretty distracted with Florence earlier." She said with a certain bite to your words

"Oh love are yea tryin' to get him jealous and get me face punched in." Niall half heartedly joked, causing her to laugh again

"Niall he would never punch you, you're his best mate. He's just letting his testosterone get in the way right now" She shrugged her shoulders and chuckled taking a sip of her drink. Niall couldn't help but join her in the laugh and took a drink as well.

"I'm going to go to the bathroom been holdin' it for awhile" Niall threw back the rest of his scotch

"You men and your tiny bladders" She chuckled jokingly as Niall flipped her off playfully and she returned the kind endearment as he went to find the bathroom.

Now left alone just her, her drink, and other strangers at the bar. She looked to both their sides and Harry was gone.

Of fucking course he's probably out chatting it up with Florence somewhere else. The thought made anger and jealousy bubble at the pit of her stomach. How fucking dare he bring her here and completely ignore her. She took another sip of her drink and decided to no longer let herself suffer.

She caught the attention of the bartender and closed out your tab "Where you going sweetheart?" Niall asked walking back up to her

"I'm not feeling well I think that last drink didn't sit well with me." She smiled at him apologetically
