He lived in a lonely, isolated bungalow in a far-off place where the sun never rested for half a year, showering summery heat despite the coolness. No relatives or friends, no family either, who he could contact, proceeding to live while hoping for a lifelong companion or at least someone who could talk to him. This follows the story of Albert, a young bachelor.

Albert--- a 25-year-old depressed adult who doesn't have a clue what he is doing with his life. His brunette hair was all messed up, his eyes were deep brown, and had dark circles around his eyes. His baggy clothes, worn out and dirty. He was skinny and tall.

Woke up at 1:45 am with the sun still shining brightly, the sun rays casting into his quite untidy house.

He had never taken the initiative to clean the dust or remove the clusters of webs from the creepy corners in the 6 months he had shifted into this dark, shabby building. Most of his things lay still covered with a cloth; he never bothered to remove those either. His furniture was lying jumbled, covered with layers of dust, with no one occupying them. The table was filled with piles of random articles and old newspapers, on top of which lay empty bottles of pills.

He rubbed the fog off the frosty tinted window with his hoodie's sleeve and looked out, only to get a glimpse of a couple chatting and laughing, sharing a cup of coffee while walking slowly beside the serene lake, holding each other's hands firmly, as the warm sunlight shone upon them. They seemed so lost in the wholesome moment. Albert immediately drew the curtains, and he found himself tearing up. He slipped down against the wall and fell to the ground, holding his legs to his chest. He rested his head in his arms and cried his heart out. He missed the chance with the person he loved deeply and is now left with a lifelong regret. He wasn't able to move on from his first love. He roughly wiped his tears, thinking that it was pointless, and got back on his feet with his body shuddering as he was overwhelmed with painful emotions.

He settled at his table with a cup of hot latte after finishing his tiresome morning chores. The wafting steam of the comfortable drink in his hands wavered his mind to the good old days, causing a wind of memories to flash through. His eyes started watering up as he sat there, reminiscing about the times he studied at the old university, He was very popular and had reliable friends. They were the responsible kind, keeping his careless, easy-going self out of trouble. Running to classes late, visiting cafes, doing work, all together as a group, never one without the others; the loud chatter and laughter of his youth filling his ears, setting him in a woeful mood.
They forgot about him, leaving him all alone when they got into good jobs. Did they disappear away from him so easily, without even a single regret? But he couldn't. He couldn't stop thinking about them—Andrew and Linda. They visited him often, even after he graduated, but once he moved to the countryside, there was a sudden shift in demeanor. They never left his side, whether it be submitting an assignment or even during his toughest times when he lost his parents in a horrendous accident, but now they didn't even bother to give him a call when he was fighting one of his worst enemies- Eternal Loneliness. He had tried contacting them a couple of times, yet there was no response. They seemed to have just faded away from his life. He anxiously feared that he might end up being lonely all his life.
He sat there drinking his latte, trying to relax but failing at his attempts as he sighed after each sip. They knew he was scared of being left alone ever since he lost his family. So why would they leave him?

It had become a routine for Albert to just sit and get lost in his deep thoughts, thoughts where he was the happiest---memories of his fun-loving family---moments with Linda---

Just then he was dragged out of his deep train of thoughts, getting startled at the loud bangs, making him question whether someone is trying to break his front door. He gulped with fear. It was early morning and hardly anyone ever visited him; his suspicion and anxiousness grew as he moved towards the door. The eerie bangs on the door became much louder as he approached the door, his heartbeat increasing. He tried looking through the peephole but concluded his attempt on account of it being too blurry to look through so finally,

He ended up opening the door--
