As she kept crying, the lights began to flicker. The windows flew open as heavy gusts blew in. The curtains swung vigorously. All of the photo frames began to tilt one by one and eventually toppled to the ground. The sound of glass cracking was so raucous that it felt like it was piercing the eardrums.
As her broken sobs resonated throughout the room through ragged breaths, all the windows in the room burst, sending ragged shards of all sizes flying through the room. He reached for the photo they had taken together, and to his horror, Linda was not in it. He tried to run away from there but failed. He flew towards the wall, hitting it as he fell to the ground. Albert scurried and crawled near a corner as his suspicions maximized.
"You know?! You're incredibly more idiotic than I expected you to be. I rushed here in a fit of emotion, not even bothering to plan anything. Do you not notice?! You thought of Linda, and here I am? You thought I was acting completely different, and I laughed and comforted you right when you thought so?! You let me in without realizing that you hardly visit two or three grocery stores far from your house, and those shopkeepers don't know where you live?!" she yells through tears with a crazed laugh.
Stammering and confused, "Who are--- you? You are not Linda!"
" What have you done to my Linda?" He screamed, tears stinging his eyes.
Laughing in the same crazed manner, she removed her face from her hands and stood up. The eerie sight of red streaks of tears flowing down her cheeks. The blood falls to the floor, leaving splatters of droplets. Her face darkened, and she paced towards him slowly, step by step, as he pushed himself back into the corner till he reached the wall and was left trapped there. His teeth were clattering out of terror as he was sweating profusely.
Closing on him, "Duh. I'm not Linda," she let out a giggle. "I am Tania," she continued in a kind of voice that sends shivers down his spine. "Remember me? It's your fault! If you hadn't helped her and instead turned her in, I would have been alive!" she screeched.'They were so close. Bounded together for life because of her.' 3 years ago, he helped Linda. He helped her by arranging for someone to kill a colleague of hers because she was getting more recognition in the business than Linda and was always compared with her. Her. Tania.
Linda was almost fired because of Tania. He did refuse in the beginning but for the sake of friendship, he agreed to lend her a hand. For the sake of his feelings for her. Why would any sane person help? Maybe if he helped, then she couldn't leave him? They would have to be with each other, bound by a secret. It was now 3 am. 'The Devil's Hour'.
Tania's true colors shone through. Gone was the beautiful mask of Linda and her true self resurfaced. Hollow sockets with no eyeballs. Her snow white skin was now wrinkled and smeared with dirt and spots of blood. Blood was dripping from her mouth. Her hair was raggedly cut and covered with grime that fell over her pale face. Her body was clad in a long white gown that was torn at the ends; it was no longer white. It was covered with huge stains of blood. Her stomach was deeply cut.
"What do you want from me?!" Albert asked while shivering and shaking as he let out cries of desperation. Tears were streaming down his face.
"This was my home, you know? I was killed on that carpet and those blood stains are mine. the irony, isn't it? That my murderer will end up dying in my old house, where I lived?" She voiced through her chuckles as she lifted a finger. She slipped out a letter from his poetry book; she read it out in a screeching voice.
Dear Linda,
Your sparkling blue eyes make me feel like I'm floating in a starry sky.
Your silky blue hair makes me think of the tranquil waters of the waterfalls.
Your white skin gives me the heavenly feeling of the snow-covered mountains.Your breathtaking smile is so bright that even the sun appears dim in comparison.
Your beautiful heart connects me to the peaceful greenery of nature.
Your pure soul reveals the peace of the heavens.
You've shown me all the world's pleasures in one place.
I long for nothing else except to merge with your soul and become a part of you.I want to build a tiny world and grow old with you in it.
when time comes, I would like to mix in the soil with you,
But after that, I promise to return to you, even if it takes a million miles.
and complete your soul again!
If you give me this opportunity, I swear on my life that I will never disappoint you.
Laugh with you in your ups and make you feel better in your downs
I will keep you safe from any harm that comes your way.
Support you in every step you take in your life.
Lift your spirit when you feel shattered. I'll be your guide if you feel lost.
If you let me, I am willing to serve you for eternity!

While she read his letter, Albert swiftly crept to his phone, which lay on the carpet. He contacted the police, and as soon as they answered, he started begging, "Help me! I am being haunted by a crazy female ghost, and she is going to kill me!!" His tone rose.
"Sir, I guess you are hallucinating; pray to God and go back to sleep." The officer seemed annoyed, as if they received similar calls all the time, but it was merely the caller's hallucinations about the paranormal incidents.
"hey!! I am not hallucinating!! I don't have any mental illnesses, for goodness sake!! Please listen to me; if you don't arrive soon, she will surely kill me." He spoke it softly and quietly so she wouldn't hear. His voice was trembling miserably with terror.
There was a long silence at the officer's end.
"Hello?!!" Albert screamed.
Tania suddenly turned to him and used her telekinetic abilities to remove the phone from his grasp. She tossed it at the wall, where it was crushed to pieces.
"Awe, such a brilliant move, huh? but, unfortunately, the police won't believe your story since ghosts don't exist." Her raspy voice cracked with laughter.
"By the way, cute love letter." She rips and tears it into pieces, then dumps the fragments of paper onto Albert, who was lying on the floor looking like a scared little kitten. "Just kidding! It's disgusting, barf; even my hollow soul can write better!" Her crimson lips formed a large u-shape that was incredibly menacing.
Albert attempted to move, but he felt immobilized all over. He shouted as he tried to break free from the invisible chains that held him back. However, he repeatedly failed in his attempts, falling to the ground with a loud thud.
