(A/N): Hey long time no update i've just been dealing with life problems and stuff but I'm back now i got some comments asking for an update so here it is :3
Once John and I got to Dave he set me down. Sure enough the kid was looking at us like we're a pare of dweebs that got drunk until John happened to speak starting a hole conversation "Hi Dave!" Dave just face palmed and asked why he was carrying complete strangers around the place. John sighed and decided it was best to introduce me "Well Dave if you must know this is (y/n). She has something for you." Due to the loud music Dave couldn't hear shit "What'd you say?" John was gonna repeat it until You whisper yelled into his ear that we should go to a much quieter location. John agreed and grabbed both dave and Your arm flying us out of the dance room and into the kitchen where it happened to be much more quiet imagine that. "What the hell man I was totally killing the dance floor." Damn even his voice was mellow you swear he could yell and you would still wouldn't be able to take him seriously with all his "cool" in his voice its like he's high but not high. As You're currently lost in thought thinking why You're comparing him to that clown dude that karkat was yelling at earlier. You was snapped back into reality when I realized the boys were done fighting and John reintroduced you. "Hey you're back from space." John joked around with me. You just kinda slide it off as something he must do to everyone. "So John said you had something for me." Dave said while looking at you curiously "Oh yeah sorry I did. Here let me get it for you." You said quickly turning to look through your little pocket bag then you realized that john grabbed you an flew you to dave causing you do drop it and set the locket in your bra you kinda felt stupid at that moment and a said "Hey whats that guy doing?" causing them to both look away you quick take it out of your bra. "Oh here it is!" you say handing Dave the locket. Dave stares at it for a second just inspecting it before whispering something you nor john could make out. You wanted to read his face to see his emotion but his sunglasses made it look like he was never not serious. Out of no where Dave Hugged you saying thank you before dashing out of the room like a badass... John giggled a little. "Whats so funny??" you ask him confused like. "he never does that so i think its funny how he actually broke character in front of some random girl he just met." John shrugs and asked if you wanted to go back to the dance room but you kindly denied him after you looked at your rise watch seeing it was pretty late and the people/trolls at the party were creeping you out. He didn't seemed at all troubled by your denial. You guess he's just used to it. You left the party without warning anyone other than John.
AT THE HOUSE
Once you got home you looked around your house for the light switch's location only to find out the power was down. Patting your way to the kitchen you get a candle before walking upstairs and setting it on your dresser. You took off your party dress and put on your pj's "Damn tonight was both awkward and embarrassing." you though as you laid down on your bed about to sleep but at the same time lost in your own thought on what that Dave kid was thinking about. Was he happy I got the locket back was he pissed? WHY ALL THE DAMN QUESTIONS I NEEDA SLEEP DAMN YOU MIND" you kept thinking to yourself for about an hour and finally passed out
THE NEXT MORNING
You woke up with a splitting headache and looked around to see the sun was up. "HOLY SHIT WHAT TIME IS IT I'M GONNA BE LATE FOR WORK!" you yelled to yourself as you quickly got in and out of the shower within 10 minute and getting dressed just to look at the time 10:57 a.m. "Damn you time! Always making me think that I'm going to be late just to show I'm 2 hours early." You sigh and walk to your living room turing on the TV and watching your favorite show for a while then got bored and felt like a lazy couch potato and needed to walk around you check the time again 11:45. I guess I could walk to work today instead of ride my bike." You shrug and look for your handbag then forgetting you left it at sollux's because you decided to leave with out thinking straight. You sig again "forget it i can live with out my little handbag." With that you walk out the your door and started walking to work. Down the road you noticed someone walking with the same uniform as you. It happened to be Dave following behind him was John. You decided to catch up with them "Hey!" you called at them as they both stopped and turned around to see how was talking Dave just stared for a second as john waved "We were just talking about you! It looks like you and dave have the same job for the summer." John giggled and dave just kept walking quietly. You knew he had something on his mind but didn't wanna ask him anything knowing you seemed to be shy at that moment which wasn't normal for you at all. "So (y/n) are you working for Mrs. Maryam too?" john asked You nodded as johns eyes seemed to have gotten like 2 times bigger which made both Dave and you stare. "Yo John are you ok your eyes are fucking with my soul man." Dave finally said. John seemed even more happy than he should be and dave seemed like he was just concerned for his own well being so John started jumping "You guys get to see rose!" he yelled "so whats the big deal?" You and dave both said in unison then dave jinxed you because he felt like it and now you owed him an apple juice you guess. "Can you tell her i said hi sense Kanaya and rose both agreed i wasn't aloud in the shop because of my mad pranking skills and they don't want to lose business." You gigged at his remark "ok i guess." dave said as john excused himself once you guys all got to the shop it was a small café but it was booming You wondered what the hell they had that was making everyone want to go there. A minute after you and dave walked in you began to look around for kanaya but obviously Dave already knew her and just walked right behind the counted like he owned the place. "(y/n)?" A troll asked from behind the register "thats me!" you call going up to her. "great heres your little ordering sheet and your apron. You'll be wiring as a waiter with Dave over there." The troll said you looked at her name tag "Ok Mrs. Maryam!" you say taking the sheet "Just call me Kanaya Dear." she insisted "Alright then" you say as you start walking around to take peoples orders. Dave walked up to you and insisted you take the weird one troll with the purple stripe in his hairs order you asked why but dave just told you that you needed to do it because he didn't want to. You sighed and walked over to the troll at the table. "hello there I'm (y/n) I'll be you waitress for today what can I get you?" He glared at you making you feel awkward before he spoke "wwell lowwblood i'd like the number two and a plane coffee." He sounded all weird and was rather bossy but you guessed it was because Sollux rapped him in his cape the other night and threw him out a window. "Alright I'll be back with your order soon you say as you start to walk away you heard him mumble something "What was that?" you looked at him "Nothing just go awway and don't come back until you havve what I fuckin asked for." you kinda just pokerfaced him and backed away slowly bringing the order to the chef you ask him if he could kinda make that order quick so i could get the troll out as soon as possible he sounded like a real dick. the chef laughed and agreed taking the slip of paper from the rack. You walked off and took some other peoples orders until the mean trolls order was finished "Here you are Sir, Enjoy." You say placing his dish in front of him. He glares at the dish and just complains about it. you swear Dave did this to you on purpose. "you know what bro this is a café not a darn fancy dinner you know if your gonna complain about the food why did you even come here in the first place." You looked at him a tad bid angrily before he stands up he was taller than You thought he would be. you glanced up at him and he looked rather livid but You stood your ground lowblood or not you didn't wanna look like a weakling in front of a whole café filled with customers. The troll starts to scream at you but your to busy in your thoughts to care and just keep staring at him before you look over your shoulder seeing everyone staring at both of you. The trolls sees that you looked away and grabs you making you turn your attention back to him who was still yelling but it wasn't before dave rushed in and pushed him back into his seat the troll looked even more angry now because after dave pushed him dawn he happened to step on his glasses that fell to the floor thats when you couldn't help but look at the two boys as the tall troll got back up and tackled Dave being the person you were you quickly ran to Kanaya's office "kanaya we have a bit of trouble in the dinner with a Stubborn customer.." Kanaya quickly got up running out the door and yelled at the tall troll "ERIDAN YOU GET YOUR HANDS OFF MY EMPLOYES AND GET THE HECK OUT OF MY SHOP!" she screamed as the troll we now no to be Eridan ignored her and kept trying to kill dave thats when kanaya pulled out lipstick and yelled "Would you like me to what I've done ages ago again?" With that Eridan stood up glaring at the both of us and walked out calmly as Dave just stood up and dusted himself off "Are you ok?" Kanaya and you asked him he didn't respond instead he grabbed his shades and put them back on like it was no big deal. "Dave." Kanaya said, "i asked you a question." "I'm fine just a little rough housing is all." Dave finely answered. Due to the little incident Dave and you were sent home. Dave offered to walk you home you wanted to say no you're fine but you said yes just because he saved your ass a few minutes ago. "so that was a great first day at work wasn't it." you say trying to make a conversation Dave looks at you an smirks and says "i guess its not everyday that you get to fight doughy trolls like him." you giggle a bit "question why did you push him in the first place anyways?" you asked him confused "it was in the hand book respect all the customers unless they're dicks like ED. signed by kanaya and Sollux." he smirks as you guys walk up to your door "Hey Would you like to come inside i think i owe you some apple juice because of earlier.."
(A/N):imma cliff hanger it because I've been procrastinating and I've been asked to make the Eridan X reader longer and i said i would and i didn't so imma do that next I hope you guys enjoy it if they're is something i gotta fix just comment it in the comment section and i'll try to fix it also I'm sorry Eriden fans but enerien just seemed like h perfect person to have screw with you because your friends with sollux and all that jazz so i thought why the hell not if i made sollux a dick in the eridan x reader imma make eridan an even bigger dick in the dave x reader don't judge me just love me. o3o.
