Chapter 5

The Next Day

You woke up early the next day and quickly got ready. You took your shower and got your work uniform on and grabbed your wallet looking around your house for no reason before cooking a breakfast for yourself finally you sit at the table. It's rather quiet and you feel uneasy. You began to nibble at your breakfast pondering about the other day. "whats with that kid why am I so attracted to him? But his hair My god its Gorgeous! Wait what am I saying to myself thats crazy!" Your thoughts went away when a knock on your door broke the silence. "Yo (Y/N) you awake in there we're gonna be late if you don't hurry up." You quickly look up at your front door "oh my god is he really here??" you think to yourself as you set your breakfast down and rush to answer the door. "Sorry I was just finishing breakfast." you say somewhat out of breath. "It's cool now lets get to work before Kanaya gets angry." He looks at his wrist watch then back at you. "Should we run?" you say looking at dave "If you want to but don't be mad if i leave you in the dust." he says with confidence. With that you both started racing to work.

ONCE AT WORK

The two of you finally made it to work and surprisingly you guys were on time. Out of breath you both look at each other then stumble to your stations. Kanaya looks at you guys both with a surprised yet flattered expression and starts chuckling. "Whats so funny?" Dave says looking over at Kanaya while staring the coffee machine. "Oh nothing, its just the two of you look like you were chased by wild animals on the way here. just look at you hair." she walks over and give you and dave one of her pocket mirrors. You quickly fix yours and look over at dave who only had to do a hair flip to fix his up. Dave for some reason is trying not to laugh. "What is it?" you say curiously looking at him, " Is something wrong?" He starts laughing and says "Don't look now but i think their's a bug in your hair still." You look at the mirror to make sure he wasn't messing with you. Once you saw the bug you started to scream " OH MY GOD OH MY GO OH MY GOD GET IT OFF GET IT OFF!!" Dave walks over and tries to calm you down still laughing slightly. "Here I'll get it." He pulls the bug out of your hair and you calm down a little  "Thank gog no customers came in yet." you thought to yourself and look at dave who was holding the bug. "See No Harm Done" he says throwing it out the door and going back to the coffee machine making sure it was working. Finally you see the first customer of the day. "Hello Sir what can I get for you?" You ask the man as he reads over the menu and different coffee choices. "Hmm.. I'll just have todays special." He says as he hands you his money "Alright Sir it'll be ready soon heres your change." He walks away and sits at a table. After bringing him his coffee he drinks it fairly quickly and leaves the shop. It was a pretty slow day after that and you were now ready to go home but as you were walking out the door you hear Dave walking up behind you, "So how about that movie?" He asks. You blush a little and look away before replying "Sure I've got a lot of really good ones at my house we can watch one there if you'd like." You said somewhat happily. He nods and you both start making your way back to your place.
