The Agent whom Kent had seen on the crash scene a few weeks ago while he was returning from his shift at the bar, stood before a large glass containment filled with liquid nitrogen. He was a sturdy man in a large room containing hundreds of cylindrical containments like the one he was staring at, and in each of the containment, was a dead alien being which was being preserved by the liquids they were floating in.
There were aliens of all colors, sizes, and shapes. One even contained a Nephillim, one of the giants of old that the world thought had gone extinct since the great floor of Noah. They were all in cylindrical tubes and had been preserved just in case any of their body parts were needed for other experiments to improve mankind.
In another hall, stood several skeleton structures of aliens too. And one stood out. It had long and massive flowing black hair still attached to the skull. Obviously, that was the only part of the creature that didn't rot away.
The name of this agent is Neil O'Hare and he was the chief commandant of the secret underground base ran and funded by the government. This place had been created to experiment on other non-human creatures in order to improve medicine, science, improve human lifespan but also create living weapons that could be used in war against other countries.
This place was heavily funded and everything there was highly classified. Every man and woman employed there, both scientists, engineers and soldiers had been made to sign a NDA (non-disclosure agreement) making sure they never speak about what was going on down here with anybody else.
Anyone who broke this ultimate rule was fired and they just vanished into thin air without any traces whatsoever. Agent O'Hare who is in his late forties had been working here for the past twenty-five years. He was strict and brutal and many did not like him but he didn't care. What mattered to him was getting the job done even at the detriment of his men.
He was more concerned about making his country proud and helping her gain the world power over every other country and some good alien discovery on how to better enhance their military stance would give them an edge over others.
For years now, the government had secretly been trying to create hybrid soldiers of aliens and humans who were strong and could be controlled easily. Men who hardly died in battle were very fast on foot and had the strength of ten men combined. Men who could heal on their own from any injury sustained during battle. Men who could live for hundreds of years and carry out secret assignments to eliminate high-profile people.
But so far, this experiment hadn't been successful but Agent O'Hare was not willing to give up. He was confident that something positive could come out of all these experiments and he was determined to see it through to the end. Through the aliens that they have captured, they have been able to improve the country's technology and even reached several heights in medicine, what was left was creating these hybrid soldiers and acquiring immortality for the human race and he felt that it was only a matter of time before they achieved that milestone.
He walked away from the hall, deciding to go check on what the scientists were up to recently. He had not received any positive news from them in weeks and his patience was beginning to think out. As he approached the big lab, through the glass window, he could see four scientists inside, two males and two females, surrounding a stretcher on which an alien was strapped to.
The alien had several wires connected to her skin to keep track of her vitals and several more wires on her bald head attached to suction-like ends. It laid still on the bed, watching the scientists' movement from the sides of her eyes since she couldn't freely move her head- her neck had been strapped to the bed too as her hands and legs and torso.
"Professor Huggins, give me some good news! Tell me she has conceived." Agent O'Hare said as he walked into the lab with three junior agents behind him.
