The next day... my mom was forcing me to see relatives I hadn't seen in years. These included my abuelo, my abuelita, my primos and primas, and my tias and my tios.

"Mom, do I really have to see them," I groaned, sticking out my bottom lip.

My mom glared at me. "Yes, mija. They haven't seen you since you were a baby." We pulled up to my abuelo and abuelita's house.

"Magnolia!" My abuelita, said hugging me. "You've gotten so big!" She motioned to her husband, my abuelo "Henry, come over here and look at our grand daughter!" She exclaimed.

"You've grown up." He said bluntly.

"Your primos and primas are in the bedroom if you'd rather be with them." She pointed to a small room towards the back, and I made my way to it.

"Hey guys," I said nervously, standing awkwardly in the room, it was only awkward since we hadn't been around each other since we were kids.

"Maggie!" Larissa, my prima (cousin) hugged me "Oh, I missed you!"

"I missed you too. Hey, where's the rest?" I asked, pulling back from the hug.

"Oh, Jose, Marcos, Cassie, and Alessandra are at the fair." Larissa said. "Abuela said I could go once you got here. You down?"

I nodded, "Yeah. Let me tell my mom first." I left the room to find mom. "Mamá. Can I go with Larissa?"

"Where?"

"To the fair. Jose, Marcos, Cassie, and Alessandra are there." I responded, having a pleading look in my eyes.

She sighed finally giving in "Fine" she fished out some money from her purse "Be back before dark"

Later me and Larissa had caught the bus to the fair

"Sooo...." Larissa trailed off looking at me intently

"Sooo?" I responded, not catching on.

"Do you have a boyfriend?"

I blushed, "Kind of. I met a guy here. We've been hanging out some."

"Aww, tell me all the details!" Larissa questioned.

"Well, I was in the airport and he bumped into me. My purse fell and he picked it up and we've been talking since."

"Aww, I'm so happy for you." Larissa smiled. "How's Uncle Sly?"

"Oh, he's good. He's been so up my butt lately, though." I groaned. "He's my dad and I love him, but he just needs to lay off a little, that's part of the reason I came down here."

"Understandable." She nodded. "Well, we're here. She motioned to a sign that said: Mexico City Boardwalk Fair

"Hey guys!" Larissa came up to our primos and primas.

"Hey." They came up to us, I waited for them to notice I was standing there as well. "Mags!"

"Hey guys" I smiled.

"Awh, we missed you!" They exclaimed.

"I missed y'all too." I said. "I'll be back." I walked to the telephone, dialing Pedro's number and putting in the money, while waiting for him to answer.

"Hey." I leaned against the machine.

"Hey, sweetheart." Pedro said on the other end. "Did you have a good day?"

"I did. Did you?"

"I did. It would be better if I could see your pretty face." His statement caused me to blush.

"Well, I'm at the fair if you'd like to come hang out. Tonight's my last night here." I said.

"Really? I'd better come see you then. See you soon, babydoll."

"See you." I hung up the phone making my way back to the group. "Guys, my boyfriend's coming."

"Now we can finally meet the mystery guy." Larissa teased, elbowing me gently. "Oooh, is that him?" She pointed out, and I turned to see Pedro walking towards our groups.

"Hey." He smiled, pecking my cheek and wrapping his arms around my waist.

"Hey." I smiled back, "Guys, this is Pedro."

"Nice to meet you." They said in unison.

"Come on, let's go ride some rides." I grabbed Pedro's hand and drug him to where I want to go.

We rode rides and ate food for the rest of the night, now we sat on the beach. I was leaned against Pedro as we watched the waves flap against each other.

"I'm gonna miss you." Pedro exhaled, caressing my arm.

"I'm gonna miss you too." I responded "I'm gonna see you before I leave. Meet me here at seven a.m."

"Will do." He gently grabbed my cheek, and kissed me.
