Sylvester Stallone's Daughters

PROLOGUE

July 21st, 1977

I was sitting on my couch watching TV when I heard a quick knock on my door. I got up, looking through the peephole before answering

"What are you doing here at this time of night?" I crossed my arms, glaring at my ex-lover.

"We have a baby, Sylvester. She's yours, and mine too, but only you have the money to take care of her." She handed me the car seat, and I peered down to see a baby girl with eyes the color of mine peering up at me and she has black hair, just like mine.

"What's her name?" I asked.

"Magnolia, Maggie for short."

"Brenda, are you sure you can't take care of her?"

Brenda got angry quickly, "I don't want her. Take her." She slammed the door, and my baby girl started crying. I didn't know what to do, I took her out of her car seat and gently laid her on my shoulder, rubbing her back and whispering sweet words in her ear.

"It's okay, baby. Daddy's here," I kissed her forehead, and thought of ways to calm her down. Luckily, her mother left a diaper bag. I went over there and fiddled out a baby bottle, thankful it was already prepared. I removed Mags from my shoulder and held her in my arms, feeding her the bottle.

The bottle fell from Magnolia's mouth, indicating she was finished with it. She had also fallen asleep. I didn't have a crib, so I put her on my bed, in the middle so she wouldn't fall off. I had already prepared for bed, washed and everything. I laid down in bed beside my baby, carefully wrapping my arms around her. "Goodnight, baby girl. I love you."
