Key To Break The Curse

*InuYasha's POV*

Good to have Kagome finally awake! I was starting to get even more worried than I already was. She smiled at me and I gave a small smile back at her.

InuYasha: Before I forget, I got the jewel shards from those two like you told, Kagome.

I handed her the jewel shards who kept it in her safe bottle. As soon as I finished with my dinner, I walked out of the room and I could feel everyone's eyes following after me in silence as I closed the door behind me.

That night, I needed to think about something... about what Sesshoumaru had told me before he departed in his own way after destroying those Thunder Brothers.

~Flashback~

(Dying) Hiten: Y-You'll pay for this later, half breed... The same goes to you too, Sesshoumaru... *disappears in dusts & ashes*

InuYasha: Heh~ like that day'll come again.

Sesshoumaru: Don't be so certain, InuYasha.

InuYasha: What?

Sesshoumaru: After seeing them revive from their corpse, you still haven't figured out something?

InuYasha: What do you mean by that?

Sesshoumaru: You're still too foolish; I thought you might've grown your brain by now. I'm not interested in answering you, but I'll tell you this, that girl whom you have amongst your group, she can be a key to break you from your curse.

InuYasha: What the hell curse?

Sesshoumaru: Being a half demon is something as disgusting as being cursed.

InuYasha: Not clearly! And what do you mean by Kagome being the key to break it?

Sesshoumaru doesn't say anymore as he walks off slowly with his back turned at them before fading off.

InuYasha: Stop right there, Sesshoumaru! *growls at his disappearance*

I stared up at the starless sky, the half moon right over my head. My head got filled with different thoughts on the thing Sesshoumaru told me... The curse and the girl... Couldn't have been Kagome now... Was he implying towards Roxanne?

*Roxanne's POV*

I came back refreshed after having my face washed and ready to get some sleep for the night. Before I entered my room, I saw InuYasha by the porch outside his own room which was just opposite to mine.

Roxanne: Hey InuYasha?

InuYasha: Huh? *looks up*

Roxanne: You're not sleepy?

InuYasha: I was only... *grunts* Never mind.

Just with that, he turned around & disappeared into his room. I blinked at the image where he had been standing awhile ago who was staring at the sky with that gentle look in his face. But seriously, why does he look offended or annoyed whenever /I'm around him?/ I slightly poured my lips before walking into my own room as well, trying not to let it bother me.
