Chapter 5- In and out of light

~time skip~ no one's POV

Ray got there in a matter of minutes, Ray ran into the man cave with Henry in his arms, Henry was still breathing, but he had no pulse.

The med bay was set up,

"Set him down" Shwas said worry in his voice, shwas, jasper and charlotte all had horrified and worried looks on their faces at the sight of Henry, as Ray set him down on the med bay table.

"He's breathing. But he has no pulse." I told shwas, unurgency in my voice.

"Wait here, okay? Keep track of his breathing" Shwas said.

Charlotte, jasper and Ray huddled around Henry, as Shwas went to get something.

"Is he going to be, okay?" charlotte asked.

"As much as I hate to say it, I don't know" Ray said with a sigh, not mentioning that Henry might be dead right now or in a matter of minutes. Shwas came back with an oxygen mask connected to a bulb thing, and put it aside, as he unbuttoned Henry's blood shirt hastily, revealing cuts and bruises, large gashes across his chest, and the large deep wound shaped like Drex's claw mark that was spewing blood none-stop, "ok, jasper, Ray, you see the brown towel over there?" shwas asked as Ray and charlotte nodded, "I need you to use it to keep pressure on Henrys wound, and do not stop until the bleeding stops!" Shwas said as he pointed to the Wound shaped like Drex's claw mark. "I'm going to run some test, but first I need to make sure he stays alive" Shwas said as he grabbed Henrys hand and attached something to his index finger, instantly a machine started to glow, showing heart rate, and henry had none.

"Charlotte, when I count to 30. You push that bulb in the oxygen mask twice!" Charlotte nodded as shwas placed the weird oxygen mask. Shwas placed one hand over the other on top Henrys chest, Shwas was counting under his breath,

"1,2,3...

8,9,10....

19,20...

30..."

"1,2!" charlotte said.

After repeating the process over and over again, to the point that shwas looked like he was about to give up, Henry's Breathing started to strengthen, so did his heart rate and a low grunt arose from him.

"Yes, wake up henry, you can do it, wake up, wake up Henry." Shwas whispered.

Henrys eyes opened a little as a loud groan came from him and he look up at them.

"Stay with us hen." Ray said, fight back tears. He didn't like seeing his friend like this.

"LOOK AWAY FORM THE LIGHT" jasper yelled as Shwas quickly reached for the oxygen mask bulb and removed it, putting a hose connected to a tube of oxygen but that didn't stop Henry from losing consciousness again as his head lolled, "That should keep him stable. We should Clean these nasty wounds, before he wakes up." So, they did, and after a long moment of silence, Ray explained what went down and how Henry just sparing into action. After they were able to stop Drex's claw shaped wound from bleeding, and all the other wounds and cuts were fine, when all they were left with was a blood drenched towel, Shwas helped the still unconscious Henry, into a sitting position, making him lean forward so that Shwas could start wrapping bandages onto the Claw shaped wound.

~time skip~

Henry was still out cold, when Shwas got the test results, "what is it? Is Henry going to be, okay?" Charlotte said. "He had some serious injuries, but he's going to be okay, hopefully. We covered the deadly and dangerous wounds, that does not mean that he's not going to be in a lot of pain, but he's going to be fine." Shwas said, everyone sighed in relief.

"When is he going to wake up?" Ray asked.

"I don't know, let's just hope he wakes up soon, if he does, we need to keep him awake, it not very safe if he loses consciousness again after waking. For at least for 3h, he has a pretty serious concussion" Shwas said.

New villains' layer

"You got any plans?" Drex said to twittler, "we tried to hurt him, and we did. I think we should hurt him more using his family, that is if he is alive. But first I think we should let him think that he is safe, then attack." Twittler said as he wrapped bandages on the wound on his side. "Yes, that would be perfect, hurt him where it hurts most." Drex said happily. Drex and twittler were the only two criminals left, all the other criminals refused to leave the old Wear-house, and they were acting dumb, until the copes showed up and arrested them.

"Do you know what happened to the others? You are the one who woke me up." Drex said.

"I think, I woke up when Captain Man was using a tiny gun on the others, maybe that was what caused them to go dumb." Twittler said, "and I also saw Captain man in grief over kid danger." he added with a mad villainous laugh. Drex laughed with him. "So, how long do we wait?" Drex asked, "till he shows up on the News again. Until then, let him think he safe" Twittler said. "For now, we are going to send a villain to commit some crime, to see if captain man will response on his own or both him and kid danger do."

Back at the man cave, POV Ray

A groan came from Henry, then a cough. instantly me, jasper, Shwas and Charlotte all huddled around Henry as his eyes opened and he rolled on his side burying his face in his pillow as he groaned in agony. One hand Holding his wounded stomach, then he looked up at them. "Wha' happen'd??" He slurred. "We will explain later, just tell us what you remember." I answered, trying to occupy him. "I remember Drex holding' me in a choko hold afta I took down the otha guys..."" Henry said. "Be'fore it all went black an—" Henry cut himself off with a cry of agony. "Look Henry, you going to have to stay awake for the next 3h, okay?" Shwas said, "ugh" Henry moaned loudly, "I know Henry, it's going to be hard for you, but it's going to be harder if you don't stay awake" Shwas said. Henry nodded.

The 3 hours past like torture, I made jasper and charlotte go back home, although they both wanted to stay. Jasper did what he usually did for the past couple of days, called Henrys mum and told her Henry was at his house as they both had a 'important project' for school. But that was just a cover up... thankfully the hours passed, Henry look worn out, "how do you feel?" I asked Henry, "Tired, but better..." he said with a yawn. He did look much better, and he was not talking in slurs and half the cuts on his arm and face were just...gone. Weird. "Good to hear! You can rest now if you want. Tell me if you need anything!" I said, he smiled back. I wondered how he could be feeling better already, not that I wasn't glad, but come on, it only been 3h since Henrys sustained sever, almost fatal injuries that could have killed him.

So, I went over to shwas,

"Hey shwas, henry says that he feels much better, is that... normal, it only been 3h, plus most of him cuts and bruises are gone." I said,

Shwas looked at me like I was crazy, "That's not possible, Henry shouldn't even be able to talk right now." he answered confused,

I raised my eyebrow at him.

"What! I don't know, let me run some test" Shwas said.

So, we both went to where Henry was, he was asleep now. Shwas ran his tests, a few minutes later he gasped.
