And here we go again!
I tried to resist, I really did. But as we all probably know by now, I have no damn restraint. So, here we are, with another fic and another OC and another world. Well... It is what it is!
Only, before you get to reading there are just a tad few things we need to address first.
Thing number one: BASED ON THE LIVE ACTION!
For all those wondering, this fic will be based on Netflix's live action show and as we get more of it, we get more content in here. As long as the LA is ongoing. When it ends, then we'll see how that happens and where they stop and if I'll finish it there too or keep writing my own version of the anime/manga adaptation.
Thing number two: ANIME CONTENT ACCURACY & SPOILERS!
a) While I have officially finished Dressrosa in the anime, I know things beyond it and I've done a lot of research even before reaching it. So I'm pretty well versed in this world, but if you do find something off, please do reach out.
b) Since I know about things far far ahead, there will occasionally pop up some foreshadowing and some details that the LA has not yet reached. Of course, it's not gonna be something direct or obviously telling you what's gonna happen, but there will be hints to some future reveals.
Thing number three: UPDATES!
If you've read any of my other fics and their author's note, you probably know this bit by heart. But for those who are here for the first time or don't usually read author's notes (although, if you don't I doubt you're reading this) here's the deal. I am a mood writer, meaning I write whenever inspiration strikes and I have time. And I publish as soon as I've written a chapter. That can mean there will be multiple updates a day, but it can also mean there can be stretches of time where the fic just sits and waits with an odd update here and there. I know some people have only the best intentions of showing you like the fic and enjoy reading it when leaving comments with update requests, but personally, those do nothing for me. Well, that's actually wrong, they work more to discourage me from writing than they do the opposite. (Literally, I once had an "Update pls!" comment arrive on one of my fics just as I was writing its next chapter, I ended up watching a reality show instead of finishing) So, please refrain from such comments.
Thing number four:
I don't have that splendid of a mind so, naturally, One Piece and all the things you know from it do not belong to me. I only own Akira and her storyline, as well as any original pieces you do not recognize from the original sources.
Thing number five:
As I've recently learned, this actually has to be specified because I've been called an actual bitch for not doing so. I do not write smut, never have, probably never will (at least, not in my fics). There might be sexual tension, and suggestions of it happening or fade to black scenes, but that is all you're gonna get. If you can't live without the smut, no judgement, but then this fic probably isn't for you.
Thing number six:
