"Are you serious about what you said earlier?" Romeo asked, his voice sounding almost pleading.
Rose looked at him, confused. "What did I say earlier?" she asked.
"You said I was your boyfriend," he said,
"I said that to make bella back off" Rose said
"Rose, I'm serious," Romeo said. "I know you said it to get Bella to back off, but I'm asking you if you meant it. Do you want to be my girlfriend?"
"Romeo, I... I don't know," Rose stammered. "I didn't mean it that way. I just said it to get Bella to leave you alone."
"But what if I want it to be real?" Romeo asked.
"ROM I don't mean it that way I just sai...."Rose said
"Rose, stop," Romeo said, his voice rising. "What you said earlier... do you know how happy that made me? Did you even realize what you were saying?"
"Romeo, please calm down," Rose said. "I didn't mean to make you upset. I was just trying to help you get out of a difficult situation."
"Don't tell me to calm down, Rose," Romeo said, his voice rising again. "Don't you dare. How could you play with my feelings like that? Don't you know how much that hurt me?"
"I'm sorry," Rose said. "I just said that to get Bella to leave you alone. I thought I was helping. I didn't mean to hurt you."
"You're sorry?" Romeo asked incredulously. "I didn't even need your help. Did I ask for it? Why did you have to play with my feelings like that? Be honest with me. Just tell me that you don't like me, and please don't play these kinds of games with me in the future. And also, could you please stop smiling and joking around with me so much?"
As Romeo started to walk away, Rose reached out and wrapped her arms around him from behind.
"Romeo, stop!" she said, her voice trembling. "Please don't go."
"What else do you want from me?" Romeo asked, his voice rough. "Are you trying to play me again?"
"No, I..." Rose said
"I need some space," Romeo said, pulling away from her grasp.

Collins was humming a tune as he typed away on his laptop, when he heard a knock at his door. "Come in," he said, not looking up.Lisa poked her head in and smiled. "Hey, bro, what's up?" she said, flopping down on his bed.
"Nothing much," he said, his eyes still fixed on his screen. "You should be in bed by now, you know."
"I know I should be in bed by now," Lisa said, "but I just had to ask you two questions."
Collins finally closed his laptop and turned to face her, his full attention on her.
"Ask away," he said, curious about what she wanted to know.
"Okay, here goes," Lisa said. "But please promise me you won't get upset if you don't like the question, okay?"
"Sure, I promise," Collins said, curious about what she was going to ask. "What's the question?"
"Ever since the whole thing with Faith, have you felt bad about it?" Lisa asked. "I mean, even though you didn't date her for long, did the time you spent together did it affect you in any way?"
Collins was speechless for a moment.
Finally, he managed to find his voice. "I don't want to talk about it" Collins said
"But why?" Lisa asked. "I'm not asking too much. I just want to understand how you feel. Do you still have a heart?"
"What did you mean by that" Collins asked
