~Ell's POV~
Chapter 2
A while back, I had read an article about how mood can affect a person's dream. It said that the way a person feels before bed can have an impact on what he/she dreams. I totally believe this as I lay on my bed with my eye's shut trying to re-live every part of my dream.
It started with me in a ball gown dancing in the clouds and having a wonderful time when a gentlemen tapped me on the shoulder and asked me to dance. He had a mask on just barely covering his beautiful blue eyes and lips to die for. We danced for awhile tracing a figure eight in the clouds when suddenly honey bees appeared above us buzzing loudly. He picked me up and rushed me beneath the clouds to a starlit sky holding me tightly as my face buried into his warm chest. I looked up at him while tracing my fingers around his face making my way to his eyes removing the mask gently. All I can say was, "Hi Sexy," as he lowered his head and kissed me passionately sending shock waves throughout my body as I moaned for more.
What happened next? I can't remember no matter how hard I've tried, but all I know is that this is one of the best dreams I've ever had.
I opened my eyes watching the ceiling as the feeling of disappointment passed through my body. If only I could sleep for one more hour, instead I'm awake feeling half satisfied. Why didn't he call me," I whined like a 5 year old pouting on the ground. Maybe he had better things to do I thought as I rolled off the bed and headed downstairs.
When I reached the bottom floor, I spotted my mother fumbling around in the kitchen. She's looking as angelic as can be with her long chocolate brown hair pinned up in a bun letting a few strands come loose. Our resemblance is shockingly similar. People said that we can pass as being sister; the only difference is that I took my father's blue eyes.
"Morning Mom; your looking mighty pretty today." I said gleefully as I kissed her on the cheeks.
"Morning?" She smirked. "Ell darling, it's afternoon now and don't tell me you forgot, me and your father are flying to Paris today," sounding concern.
"No, I didn't forget. You guys go and enjoy your anniversary. Don't worry about me," I said smiling. The thought of my father taking my mother away every year on their special day made my heart melt. This is so romantic; I can't wait until I find my amour de ma vie.
"If anything, call us ok!" She said snapping me back to reality as she walked towards my father. My father grabbed her hand and pulled it gently to his lips making my mother's leg twitched. I can't believe after twenty years, my father still have this kind of affection towards my mother. They are truly in love I thought as my mother walked out the door.
My father turned to me with a stern look on his face and said, "Ell dear, absolutely no parties ok!" I grinned at him shaking my head. Sometimes he can be real tough on me. You think he would give me some slack for being his only child. He always seem to suck the fun out of everything.
"Well is it ok if Paige can come over," I asked while making the puppy dog face. He can never say no to that. No matter how tough he tries to be, deep inside he's as soft as a teddy bear.
"Sure, and no boys," he said as he stepped outside closing the door behind him.
The whole afternoon was boring. Nothing to do, nothing to watch as I lay on the recliner. Should I call Andrew so we can hangout? I really do hate wasting my weekend. Maybe Paige can come too, so it won't feel like a date I thought when my phone started to vibrate. I looked at the caller id, and my heart started beating fast. I smiled and answered the phone.
