(Soojins POV)

I had stopped eating, I had stopped caring. He was nowhere to be found. I had been to his house on multiple occasions, but I got no answer.

His car was always gone. I was waking up in the middle of the night with cold sweats, dialing his number in hopes he'd pick up.

All I did was lay in bed all day and isolated myself. I hadn't spoken to Ari in days. I ignored every phone call.

Why does this hurt so bad? He was nothing to me just a couple of months ago and now I can't seem to live without him.

He had a hold on me that no one else did. I craved his presence. Why isn't he coming back? Was I really that mean to him?

Sometimes I'd sit at his doorstep and wait for him to come home, but he never did. Not once did his car pull in.

Not once did it feel like a movie scene where I jumped into his arms and apologized. He was just gone as if he never existed.

And then there were days where I'd get so mad at him. I'd scream out my window and curse his name. Was it normal to feel like this?

It has been 2 weeks since he disappeared. Was he ever coming back? All of these thoughts ran through my head, I couldn't stop thinking about him.

~Later that day~

"Soojin!" I heard a yell at the door. "It's been days, let me in!" She knocked louder.

"Go away." I yelled from the couch.

"You're going to rot in there. Let's talk about this." I stayed silent. "I will break this door down, Tak Soojin!" Not the full name.

"What?" I opened the door.

"Wow, you look rough." Her jaw fell open. "Just talk to me." She followed me through the house.

"I don't want to talk about it." I flopped down onto my bed, face first.

She sat next to me. "Look, Minho never stays in one place for too long." She rubbed my back. "Maybe it's time to let him go."

"How can I, Ari?" I looked up, pouting. "I'm attached to a total stranger! This is so embarrassing!" I buried my face into a pillow.

"It's not embarrassing, jinnie." She hugged me. "If a man treated me like that, I'd fall in love too." She laughed.

"This is different!" My words were muffled. "He kissed me." I paused. She seemed to have been taken aback by what I had said.

"He what?" Was all she could say.

"The night you came over." I paused. "The night you said I was acting weird. Well, he was hiding in my closet and he spent the night after." I looked down.

"Did you two, you know?" Her eyes widened.

"No!" I scoffed. "But we slept in the same bed." I chuckled.

"Oh god, you're deep into this." She rolled her eyes and sighed. "Look, how about we go out tonight. Just the two of us."

"I don't want to." I kicked my feet. "I want to rot at home."

"There will be no rotting. We are going out to find you a man to help you get over Minho." She grabbed my arms, attempting to drag me.

"But I don't want to go!" I threw my head back like a child.

"Come on! You have to move on." I caved in and stood up. "Get dressed and take a shower, please." I smelled my clothes and noticed I stunk.

"I should probably shower." I grabbed my clothes and headed to the bathroom.

After a nice shower and finally brushing my teeth, I decided to get dressed. I stared at the clothes, tempted to just back out and sleep.

I knew I needed to get over this. She was right, he was probably never coming back and I needed to move on.

I got dressed and walked out the door, meeting Ari who picked me up.

"I'm not saying you have to go home with anyone, but have some fun at least." She smiled.

All I could do was give a faint smile. As we arrived at a club, I started to feel nauseous. I didn't want to go in.

"Ari, I don't feel good."

"I drove all this way. Listen." She kneeled down. "I'll stay next to you the whole night." I nodded.

As we walked in the doors, the entire place was loud. It instantly made my head throb. I held my ears as Ari walked with me.

"Promise me you won't leave me?" I screamed over the music.

"I promise!" She smiled. "Lets go sit down."

We sat down at a table and casually talked. Neither one of us were drinking tonight, we just needed to let loose and have fun.

In the middle of our conversation, a guy walked up to Ari. "You both look pretty tonight." He put his arm around her.

"Thanks!" Ari smiled. I just sat there, staring at the floor. Ari and that guy talked for what seemed like eternity. "Jinnie."

"Yeah?" I looked up.

"I'll be right back. I'm going to step outside." She staggered.

"Are you drunk?"

"I barely had a drink. I'll be right back." She could barely stand.

"You promised you wouldn't leave me." My eyes narrowed.

"I'm not. It'll take a minute or two." I watched as she walked off.

It had been 5 minutes and she still wasn't back. I wasn't having any fun. I grabbed my things and went out to the car.

I walked out the back door because the front one was too crowded to get out. I sighed as I checked to see if I had all of my stuff.

"Be quiet." I felt a hand wrap around my mouth and the other picking me off the ground. I kicked and screamed. "Shut the fuck up!"

I was dragged into the back of a car where I was pinned down to the seat. "Here you go." A needle was stuck in my arm as the man cradled me. "That's it, calm down."

Everything became blurry, I had no more energy to scream. Before I knew it, I blacked out.
