Superhuman people, people gifted with paranormal abilities, those who the society thinks that doesn’t exist. There are organizations and establishments fare from the knowledge of any normal human, which are created especially for us, like Xavier-Gremory Academy, which is created not just to educate us, but to help us fully develop, control and use our abilities for better good. One of the founders of this establishment, Caelum Gremory, are Xander and Angela’s grandfather.

It's just another normal day. Extraordinary, if you're not used to see teenagers flying around the corridors, shape-shifting like animals, and ones that goes invisible. I never cared to see such things. I hate it, actually. And now, I'll do what I always do every day: get unnoticed. It's because I really hate eye contacts, laughing, and noise. And so I walked on a quieter hallway, with less people.

I still can't get over of C; the letter, the myrtle branch, and the fact that he sneaked in the mansion without much trouble. Quickly putting aside my thoughts, I saw a new face. Standing in front of a locker with a backpack, this must be Blake Schwartz. His hair was color black with dark blue highlights, wearing a black and white stripes tank top, red jacket, jeans, and black and white checkered shoes. From what I heard from the faculty members, he has the power to manipulate electricity.

I was about to walk away, but before I could do so, I felt a strong feeling of uneasiness coming from him, as strong as everyone's feelings here in the hallway. I looked to his face, only to find a blank expression. He is rather good at hiding his feelings. As much as I want to read his mind with my telepathy, I don't want to violate him.

Then I was kind of startled when someone spoke.

"Newbie, huh?" someone said with a female voice, her face obscured because of the locker door.

I was staring at this guy for too long. I never heard their conversation though.

As the newbie closed his locker, the girl's face was revealed. It was Sydney.

Sydney Brecker, from Class 10, that has the power of mass manipulation, the ability to decrease or to increase mass in an object.

As I left the spot where I am standing, the bell rang.

"Good morning everyone." said Ms. Smith, our adviser.

"Good morning Ms. Smith." everyone replied.

"As you probably know, two new transferees are to come here today," she said, "and one of the two new students is going to be at Class 10 right?"

"I know, I know, you are very excited to meet her, so do I!" she said, then she walked to the door then opened it, "and now, here she is, Ms. Mochizuki!"

Enter a lovely Japanese lady. A girl with an average height, sporting a bob cut hair with fringe, carrying a orange Hermès ostritch leather Birkin bag, wearing a "I ♥ Japan" tee, orange satin knee-length skirt, complete with orange flats.

"Ohayo gozaimasu minna," she bowed and said," or in English, good morning everyone!"

"Introduce yourself, Ms. Mochizuki." Ms. Smith said.

"I am Emiko Mochizuki, you could call me Emi, if you like, and I came straight from the land of the Rising Sun!" she said energetically, invoking our interests, except me, that is.

"What is your ability, Emi?" our adviser said.

Everyone was eager to know what this girl is capable of. Emi placed her bag on the floor.

"One of the two of my abilities is sublimation. If you don't know what that is, it’s a type of shape-shifting. It is the ability to change into a form of a gaseous, mist, or fog-like appearance. Who wants me to do a demo?

I raised my hand, and so did the others. We never had someone who could do that before, so we're very curious about it.

"Who's the strongest here, in terms of physical strength?"

Most of my classmates pointed at Sydney.

"Can you come here in the front? Don't worry, I won't bite." Then Sydney came in front.

"Okay, so you are..?"

"Sydney."

"Okay Sydney, punch me in the face."

"Pardon me?"

"Punch me in the face; give me your best shot. You have my permission."

"Uh...okaaaay....well, here it goes."

So Sydney did punch her in the face, with a force that's enough to leave a crack to the room's fiberglass window. But as her fist was about to have contact on Emi's face, her head disappeared like thin air. Her torso disintegrated next, and then what's left of her body became gas. She then, in her fog form, circled the room, and started to transform back to her human form again.

"Thanks, Sydney." and then she offered a hand shake to her, to which Sydney responded.

"That is wonderful, Emi!" said Ms. Smith.

"Thank you Ma’am." and she picked up her bag.

Sydney raised his hand and said "So what's your second superpower?"

"Poison generation! I can generate different kinds of toxins, with, wide, different kinds of effects!"

By far, that's the most enthusiastic way someone could say that they can create something dangerous.

"Ooooh, that's deadly! Class 13 students should be scared by now." Ms. Smith said, "Now, let's have your seat assigned!

"Sit beside...there, beside Ms. Dupont."

Ms. Smith said as she points on the seat on my right side, right because I am facing on the back view of the room. I'm sitting on the fifth row from the door, second to the last seat.

Our room has five rows and each row has five seats. Meaning, in this room, it has the capacity to hold 25 students.

She walked to her assigned seat very poised. She placed her bag on the seat, and she sat. She looked at me, and waved. I only stared at her blankly, nodded, and turned my attention on the front.

Should she be a nuisance to me, she's going to be dead.
