"Love me?" Malachi asked and I nod.

"Mind uh mek mi pree yuh youth," he said and I looked up from my phone.

I took in our surroundings to notice that we were at the restaurant. I looked over at Malachi and he was looking at me.

"I love you Malachi,"

This man will accept nothing but my full and undivided attention.

"So how uh tek suh long fih ansa," he asked.

"I didn't. I answered the moment you asked," I said and he leaned over in his seat.

I nod my head, did I not

"Mi no wah dhat," he said

"Sorry," I said and he grabbed my chin.

Studying my face like it was a very important project.

"Mi pretty babymada slash wife," he said and I smiled.

"You're beautiful baby," he said and my tummy flips.

I lean in and placed a peck on his lips.

We pulled away and I went back to scrolling through safari for more information.

"Sumo do uh babes?"

"No," I answered.

I leaned into my seat after awhile and hissed. I cleared the search bar before Malachi called me.

"Babes?" he said while tapping on the steering wheel.

"Yes,"

"A wah?" he asked and I looked at him.

"Nuh-"

"Babes no mek mi get mad pan uh," he said in frustration and I pout.

"I don't have a problem,"

"Wah bada uh?"

"It's dumb," I said and he took a deep breath.

He runs his fingers over his face and let out a sigh. "Come m'ere," he said before lifting me up from my seat.

He placed me inside his lap before wrapping his arms around my waist.

"When I get frustrated, I get.."

"Mad," I said while looking at my fingers.

He grabbed my chin and stared into my eyes intensely.

"And I don't want to get mad at my baby so for the love of God babe talk to me," he said

"I don't have a baby bump as yet. And mi think sumo wrong wid mi body?" I said and he looked at tummy.

He then took my hand and placed a kiss on my knuckles.
