Bowie x Raj

The Phone

Raj and Wayne sat in Raj's room, with only a lamp illuminating the whole place.

"Are you sure I should do this, bro?" Raj asked anxiously,

"For sure, eh! I mean he did say he wanted to go on a date after the show right?"

"Well, what if he's found someone else?"

"Cmon now Raj, the show only ended a week ago, I don't think that's even possible!"

"I mean, I guess you're right,"

Raj picked up the phone that sat before them, and dialled the number that Bowie had given him on the island. The sound of the phone ringing pierced through the small room, with every ring, Raj lost hope. Until,

"Hello? Who is this?" a familiar voice spoke,

"Hi Bowie! It's me, Raj. From the show?"

"Oh my god, I've been waiting for you to call for ages, I've missed you!"

Raj's face flushed as Wayne kicked his feet in excitement,

"Well, y'know, Ive been busy with training and stuff, what about you?"

"Ive been crushing everyone in basketball obviously!" Bowie giggled,

"Well um.. I was wondering if you wanted to go get dinner with me some time," Raj stammered,

"I'd love to! What time?"

"Is tomorrow night okay? At the Italian restaurant downtown?"

"Ooh fancy, that's great! I'll see you tomorrow."

"Okay, bye Bowie!"

Raj hung up and looked at Wayne, "Ive got a date!" Raj exclaimed,

The two friends hugged and jumped around, Wayne looked at Raj with a smile on his face,

"I'm so proud of you bro."
