All I ever tried
Was to keep you
In my life
But you faded away
As I decayed
Before your eyes
Cut the ties
There is no advice
Watch as we sink
Into our afterlives
Nobody wants to help
Everybody rather watch
As the world
Crumbles
before their eyes
I thought we had a chance
To become more than this
But I guess we ended up
With shovels to dig the ditch
All I ever tried
Was to keep you

Before your eyes
Nothing can ever be
I thought we could be
Passed this lie
You became
Another ghost
Like I knew you be
My world crumbles
In the front of me
You stand there
With nothing to say
Move out of the way
I hope things will work out
But the sun sets
With every ounce of doubt
Knowing there is
No way
No way out
