"Yes?"
"What..?"
You sat up from Williams couch and stood in absolute shock as the caller hung up.
You got a warning for not paying the bills recently..
You didn't want things to go even more downhill then they already had so you just sucked it up and turned to William. "Hey, It's late.. you should head to bed and I'll be going too."
"I'm not quite sur-" William began to speak but you cut him off by gently grabbing his cheeks and pressing your lips shortly to his in a small peck.
Then you grabbed your bag and quickly left the Afton household.
William gazed at you absolutely stunned, his cheeks redding by the second.
You climbed into your car and drove off immediately heading towards your apartment. It wasn't too far away from Williams House, around a 20 minute drive, but it still took time to get there unfortunately.
Once you made it home, you picked up the red letter your landlord had told you about, grabbed your bag, as well as all your savings and sat down by the desk in your room with a sigh.
This was going to be a long night.
- Time skip -
You woke up at 6 am from the sound of your landline ringing. You picked your head up from your desk, which you accidentally fell asleep on, peeling off the paper that had stuck to your face with your drool.
"Ew.." you muttered as you sleepily trudged over to the phone. "..Hello..?" You answered.
"Oh, dear God. [Y/n]! Are you alright? I've been calling for the last 20 minutes and you haven't answered once till now! What have you been doing?" A male voice spoke rapidly yet still speaking in a posh sort of way. You recognised it immediately from the accent that I was William, but barely only comprehended half the words he spoke.
Couldn't blame yourself though. After counting and taking care of your bills till 4.30am and falling asleep around 5, surviving on 1 hour of sleep wasn't ideal.
"Calm down. What's the matter?" I muttered as you rubbed your temple.
"Are you alright..?" Williams voice hummed softly through the phone.
"I'm fine."
There was a moment of silence.
"Could... could you meet me at the diner? At 9?" He asked softly.
You needed a moment to think, your brain was too sleepy to understand what diner he was talking about.
"Which diner?"
"My Diner? 'Fredbears family diner'?" Will sounded confused.
"What time again?" I yawned.
A gentle yet low and gravelly chuckle came through the phone from William. "I think I might of called you too early. I apologise for that. How about we meet at 3pm. When you're fully awake?"
You nod, not realzing that William wouldn't be able to see.
"Is that a yes..?" The man asked, confused to why there was no verbal response from you.
"Yeah. Good night." You hummed and hung up the phone then trotted over to your bed and flopped down onto it. Falling asleep immediately with a happy sigh.
William stood by his own landline curling the wire around his finger, his cheeks warm from the memory of yesterday's night. He put his own phone away and sighed.
"Silly girl."
He chuckled softly and walked over to check on the kids....
