A partly broken bond

Chapter one

A/N : Yo i'm back with another story now so you don't have to read that umm cringe story I wrote if you wanted to see my stories but I have my second story now so you are free from that one story i might actually delete but yeah so enjoy

Loud tapping of talon feet soon filled the void-like silence of the room as well as the loud and heavy panting of a specific little avian hybrid.

Xelqua or grian as he likes much better had been the one to fill the silence of the room. He ran further into the room passing many colourful and non-colourful portals, but suddenly he had come to a stop. He panted heavily as he leaned down slightly but it was rather difficult while holding something as big as a 5-year-old kid in his arms.

The said child was clutching onto his dear life holding grian tightly around his neck and his legs squeezing the poor hybrid's waist now started getting painful. The hybrid's hold on the child was getting loose, grian was getting tired now all the adrenaline in him was starting to slowly exit his system.

"N-no i-i gotta keep moving" the avian hybrid quietly groaned out as he tried to take another step before failing immediately as his knee buckled underneath him but he was quick to manoeuvre around, falling onto his side taking most of the impact instead of the kid taking the impact as well, with his arms cradling the kid's head to protect his head from slamming into the ground.

Heavy heaving has started to fill the room now as grian keeps trying to breathe in enough oxygen to fill his lungs. The kid grian seemed to be clutching onto him for his dear life now and was incredibly scared, Bright blonde curly hair fills Grian's vision as the kid tries to manoeuvre his way out of the dirty blonde's hold on him, it was a struggle for the kid since grian had a death hold on him but he had managed to escape the death hold on him and now he sat on his knees in front of grian with a scared and worried expression on his face as he stares at his very puffed out brother.

The kid wasn't very tall for his age he was considered to be well below average height for his age as a 7-year-old, with new bright bleach blonde hair and with bright eclectic blue eyes, the kid wore a baggy baseball like a t-shirt with some light brown coloured shorts on that was also pretty big on the young kid but it was all grian could do. And right now all grian could do was stare at his little brother as he looked so different from how he used to look but that was a good thing though.

If he could get his baby brother into a server that is safe enough for him and from the watchers then that would be perfect for his baby brother, Thomas or for short. Tommy, it doesn't matter if he gets taken back he just wants Tommy to be free from all of this and while it might as well be a bonus if he as well escaped with Tommy but he couldn't stay with him, he doesn't have enough power to do the same spell he did on Tommy for himself he'd be found out soon enough if the server isn't secure from the watchers enough then not only will he be taken back but Tommy will as well despite the disguise he has.

With determination filling his mind now he starts taking slow steady and even breathing unlike before that were uneven and unstable breathing he was now able to properly take in oxygen that his lungs desperately needed, and as soon as air started filling his lungs again he tried lifting himself from the lying position he was in, managing the best he could he had sat himself up into an actual sitting position with his leg extending towards the side and he sat on the side of his hip.

Tommy watched his brother in awe. Amazed by his brother the seven-year-old didn't realise that his brother had grabbed his hands into his bigger ones.

"Tommy," his older brother said his voice rasping as his breathing was shallow but steady, his voice had snapped the younger one out of his trance, and now realised that his brother was in the same position as he was, but now his hands were being tightly held by his brother's but not in a hurting type of way.
