Eleanor's/Writer's POV:
Me and my family have been living in poverty, in a house built out of metal. We live on the outskirts of Norway, in a secluded village with not a huge population. There is a huge grass-field where all our locals go to farm their own vegetables to sell.
"1KG POTETER, KUN TILBUD!" (1k bag of potatoes, offers only) - One local seller, Jerome. As per usual he looked stuffy.
God, can he like rest?
All of a sudden, the loud speaker rang. This speaker is only used for highly important events or crisis that are going to happen in the village. Just to give us a heads up.
Me and my little brother ran to the centre part of the village to see what was the commotion about, we squeezed ourself through the crowd to get a good view of our Lord/Mayor of the village. Mateo Andre. No one honestly knows why he came to our town, knowing absolutely nothing of it.
"Listen up!" He was holding a scroll, not unusual.
...
Wait....
That scroll looks far to familiar...
My eyes glancing over at everyone, hoping someone else would have recognised that exact scroll. It should be familiar with everyone, but at the same time I shouldn't care. We've only seen that scroll once in 10 years.
{ A special scroll that comes from the Royal Palace, for really important occasions }
It was the Royal Importance Scroll, I knew I recognised it from somewhere. 10 years ago, in our Village the King alongside his Wife joined the Lord/Mayor, as well as a few locals to help farm our crops.
As he opened the scroll up and started to read it out with the microphone...
"Dear Citizens of de Grønn Village, from tomorrow and Wednesday me and my family will visit your village. We are starting a charity, as we will fund you with your hard work and ownership.
Looking forward to seeing all of you, Royal Palace of Norway."
As he read on, the crowd started to cheer and some not so quite...
"This is unbelievable! 10 years, and now he notices our struggles?!" Pam, the local flower marketer.
It was true, he visited for brunch and to help our crops then left. It's as if he came to do his duty and go on with his life, will he leaving us again for 10 years? He barely even knows our village name.
