Eleanor's/Writers POV:

As we said our goodbyes to Maja, we all watched as she rode her carriage away to her new life. Some can say I may felt a little shame, and jealousy. She was such a lucky girl, in this life and village it's like if god has answered our prayers. Being sold to a wealthy man is pure utter luck. Maja was one of them.

Throughout the 2 days before the Royals arrive, the entire town has been making sure the village looks presentable. Farming enough crops for the days, making sure to spare a house for them.

My mother threw my apron on me, "Let's hope someones willing to buy you before the royals arrive, or else they think your bad luck." she muttered.

"Oh and hope he's rich and wealthyyyy~" I rolled my eyes mocking my mothers remarks.

We both laughed, we never felt like this in a long time. But we are glad.

Edwards/ Writers POV:

(for extra emotion, required to listen to the song whilst reading :)

After hearing about our visit to the village, I had mixed emotions about it. I wasn't sure if I myself was up for it, I am not quite a popular royal despite being the Prince, I had no popularity.

"Eddie!" a pitched voice from downstairs, I wonder who it could be and what for.

I rushed quickly downstairs to hear what's happening, to find myself staring at our maid whose weeping tears. Alongside my father and mother standing in front of her, scolding whilst the guards retaining her.

"What's going on!?" I quickly pushed aside and turned to her, then looked up at my parents who had a cold stern look on their faces. "What..is going ON!" them ignoring me fired me up, I needed to know. Melina was our maid for 15 years, she's such a loyal maid to us.

"She will leaving this establishment, and no longer calling it her home." as he said it, he flinched towards her making her reactively flinch back.

I laughed. "Leaving? Your a jokester dad..." I tried brushing off the fact that she's actually going to leave us, she grew up as my second mother. I couldn't help not letting her go...

"You think this is a joke? This is the real world son, you're going to hate it or love it." as he said this, my heart sank so deep. I couldn't help but shed a few tears before breaking down on my knees. All these 15 years, all these memories and new ones are going to just fade away all because of some......reason.....

I don't even know the reason....?

I quickly stood up, standing straight.

"Why?" Is the only word that could come out of my mouth, before they could say anything as the guards opened the door I could hear the civilians shouting outside.

"THIEF! ROT IN HELL!" One women screamed.

Thief? no....

No.
