Lilah's worst trait has always been her unwavering ability to confuse everyone around her. Lest it be her favorite drink, her hobbies, her preferences in love, in life. Truly nobody knew her.
This made him all the more intrigued. He wanted to understand this illustrious mystery, appearing and disappearing from people's lives like a fantasy fog.
Lilah had just one routine. One discernable pattern he could cling to for all his worth in hopes of learning about her. She liked stopping at a little cafe on the brink of town. Every time she'd be given some new form of latte art. He figured the barista wanted to practice lots of shapes and she loved seeing them.
She'd often look up at the barista, her eyes bright up through her lashes. The man figured she liked this barista but he couldn't figured why. They had no discernable charm. Well... then again, neither did he.
One day he got real bold and decided to follow her after the cafe. His patience seemed to be running thin. She walked fast, graceful and quiet through many turns and ally's but the man's determination overpowered her allusive maneuvering.
He managed to get all the way to her front door, he had to take note of the number on her door before slipping back down and out. He figured he'd gone far enough that day.
Another day he noticed her leaving. He couldn't help but sneak himself inside. The bobby pins be used to keep hair from covering his eyes coming mighty in handy. Today he know more about her. His heart paced fast as he crept inwards.
Much to his surprise her house was empty, barren. The walls all white and pictureless. Her kitchen just had a stack of paper plates and a box of disposable utensils. It was like she didn't live there at all. Her bed, in dull colors was neat and clean, not a single lamp in any room.
He couldn't tell if he was more intrigued or perhaps a little afraid of her. Nothing identifiable sat anywhere in her whole apartment.
The door locks clip stunted his thoughts and he dashed inside her bedroom closet hoping she wouldn't bother to go through it.
Lilah walked up to her bed, sat down slowly, a big smile on her face. She closed her eyes, crossed her arms and fell back into the bed. His eyes couldn't believe themselves. She fell straight through it. No, no. The bed didn't break! She didn't fall into the floor. She disappeared into it.
He crawled out the closet, breath stifling to get through his lungs. He didn't hesitate for long though. He sat on her bed just as she did, cross his arms and fell through. Landing softly, his back hit lush blue grass. The sky a deep violet as he stared up at it.
"Oh my!" Lilah exclaimed leaning over him. His eyes widened looking straight into her bright white iris's. What had he gotten himself into? "You're the man that's been following me for weeks now aren't you?" She said with a grin."
The man was frozen, his mind not processing what stood before him. Lilah leaned down and touch his chin, sliding her finger under it. The man floated upwards, not a single body part even grazing the grass beneath him. Surely, she wasn't some super strength alien like Superman?
"What is this place?" The man asked, his chest heaving.
"My imagination." She smiled before moving her finger, his body following suit. He landed into a wheelbarrow that was mostly stuffed with hay.
"Come I'll take you to eat." She says leaving him no choice in the matter anyways as she pushes the cart. "What's your name? Surely it isn't Mr. Stalker? Hmm?"
"Uh um, Henry." The man hiccups, the nerves whirling through him rapidly. He was looking her in the eyes! For real!
The ride was long and windy. They passed many patches of corn crops on a bumpy wood chip path. The weather was unusually comfortable. Sunny and warm yet not the slightest bit burning. A gentle breeze caressing his cheeks and blowing back Lilah's hair.
She tipped the wheelbarrow launching him on the ground. "Ah such a long walk!" She clapped, dusting her hands off as if she broke a sweat. She didn't. Not even a deep breath or a exhausted stature.
Lilah pulled Henry up off the ground and dragged him into the cottage before them.
The man's breathing got heavier as his eyes couldn't behold what sight stood before him.
At each chair sat a different figure. One a doll, one a plush, one a pony, another just a deers head. What they all had in common was their eyes gouged out and the stench of rotting flesh.
"Wh- what-" Henry's chest hurt, his foot stumbling backwards.
"Where are you going Henry? You came cuz you wanted to get close to me right?" The blush on her cheeks was deceitful, it made the soft slivers of light falling through poorly sown hay wall heavenly.
It was a mere few seconds of distraction but it was all she needed to pull him over and sit him in a chair.
"Do have dinner with us, Henry." She grinned sitting at the head of the long dark wolf table. "After all, you're my final guest." Lilah bared her teeth, all long and sharp.
Oh what a mistake this was, huh Henry?

A/N: wasn't gonna originally make her a killer but I also didn't feel like giving the stalker a happy ending :D
