Xornoth's Quest

   Members of the royal elvish family have been trying to find the ruins of the lost empire for years but none of them have succeeded. 6 years ago Xornoths father attempted to keep this perilous "tradition" and set out to find the civilization. Xornoth hasn't seen his father since he left 6 years ago, and today was the day he set out to look for him. "Bye ma, i'm leaving"

"Ok, be careful!" his mother responded from the other room.

Xornoth scurried out the door, map in hand, and started to make his way towards the jungle

The jungle was a decent way away from Rivendell so he had to pass through the Grimlands.

There it was.. the jungle. xornoth was now at the edge of the grimlands and was right infront of the jungle.

he started to walk into the jungle under the assumption that he was prepared for what was inside. but he couldnt be more wrong

Xornoth was wandering around the jungle trying to find any form of civilization but he had been searching for hours and there was nothing. at this point he was starving. he ate something earlier when he was passing through the grimlands but that felt like it was ages ago. he looked around the jungle looking for any food.

at last he finds some sort of berry bush that looks mildly edible. he walks over to pick some but a low growling noise emerges from the bush. Xornoth, confused, bent down and looked in the bush. when he looked through the branches in the bush something was looking back.

 before he could see what it was it jumped out and started trying to eat him or something, he didnt really know, but still!! he was able to get away from it momentarily. when he regained his senses he realized it was a literal dinosaur..!!?!!? the dinosaur started to run back towards him but a voice called out (presumably for the dinosaur) 

"Razor!! get over here and leave that poor person alone!" the dinosaur snapped its head towards the direction of the voice and scurried off. Xornoth heard footsteps getting closer and once he figured out where they were

he saw a vibrant spot weaving through the vines getting closer to him until he could see the person fully. it was him... the ruler of the jungle and he was walking right towards xor.  oh no im so fucked hes probably gonna like.. cook me or something! what do i do?!?! Xor thought, in a panic, he grabbed a small but sturdy looking stick and threw at at the bird person. "OW!!" he yelled out as the stick hit his cheek. "im not gonna hurt you so theres no need to hurt me."

"you're not?"

"Why would i?!"

"i dont know?? arnt you supposed to be evil or something?"

"no?!"

"oh.. whats your name then?"

"Joey" he said whilst smiling "how about you, elf boy"

"never call me that again. My name is Xornoth."

"thats a lovely name. what made you want to come here, Xornoth?"

"My father.. he left to come find your empire a couple years ago. nobody has seen him since."

"that would make sense. nobody really leaves. Whats your last name?"

"Major. my last name is Major."

if u guys like it ill try to continue it :) its alot easier for me to write one big story with one big plotline than a bunch of small stories with a bunch of different plots
