i keep looking for you in other people
left left left right
as if you didn't show up 5 minutes in
left left right left
as if your date didn't show up 25 minutes after you did
left right left left
and i keep wondering what is it of me that disgusted you
right right right right
and realized that maybe im disgusted with me toothey ask, what does one do with a broken heart?
but broken means there's pieces to work with, but mine is
hollow. as if you could feel the wind that blows past that open chest
couldn't you be so kind as to leave a piece for me to save?you sing a song with the melody of an apology
and yet i dont know what threw you off
why can't i be your type? why did i disgust you? what did i do wrong?
im
sorry.so i keep looking for you in other people
left left left right
your smile, your lips, the tan of your skin
left left right left
down to the dimming stars in your eyes
left right left left
and none of them are just right
right right right right*and i hope whoever it is, whoever it may be, can bring back the light that you lost
