Jenna's Pov:
"Jenna"
"Jenna"
"Jenna, you better get up now or you will be late," Jess said, shaking me awake.
Hearing that, I immediately sprang out of bed and checked the time. Oh, shoot, I am going to be late.
Jess remarked, "See, I told you; you should've set your alarm, but no, you said you could wake up by yourself."
I immediately hurried to the bathroom to take a quick shower. I started thinking about life in the shower because, well, why not? I have known Jess for about ten years now. I met her when I felt like there was nothing left to live for in the world, and we have been stuck together like glue ever since. She has always been there for me and has always supported my every decision. She's my best friend.
I stepped out of the shower and went to my closet, where I chose black denim jeans, a striped button-down shirt, and black flats.
Heading downstairs, I almost tripped on the steps because of how clumsy I am.
"Thanks, boo, for waking me up. I can't stay for breakfast, or I'll be late," I said while heading through the door.
"Wait, take this sandwich to eat on the way," said Jess while handing me what looked like a PB&J sandwich.
"Thank you, I love you," I said as I began walking quickly towards the bus stop.
"I love you too," I heard her shout a second later. You are probably wondering why I am walking to the bus stop; don't you have enough money to buy a car? I do, but I do not want to spend my meager savings on a car. My dream is to save enough money to travel the world one day, so for now I just have to catch the bus to work.

Arriving at the school, I immediately hurried towards my classroom to prepare the materials for the day before the children came in.After about 30 minutes, the children began to enter the classroom one by one.
"Good morning, class," I said as I stood up from my seat. "Good morning, Miss Fisher," they all said back in their sweet, small voices.
"Today we'll be learning how to add numbers", I said while taking out my lesson plan for the class.
When it was lunch time, I sent the kids in a line to the cafeteria where they usually eat and hurried towards the staffroom to meet Maisie. Maisie Smith is one of two people at school with whom I am very close; she is a janitor, and despite the fact that people make fun of her job, she is always a hard worker. Brian Bailey is another person I am close to, and despite being the principal, he does not act strict and does not always put on a poker face.
"Hey Maisie," I said as soon as I saw her in the staffroom and rushed over to hug her.
"Hey Jen, how was class?" she replied.
Maisie was the only person who called me Jen.
"Class was great, Maisie; we started addition today," I replied to her question.I went to Brian's office after talking with Maisie for a while. I entered after knocking on the door and hearing a small come in.
"Good morning, Mr. Bailey," I teased.
Brian didn't like any of his friends calling him by his last name; he said it made him feel older than he actually was, even though he was already 42 years old."Jenna, I have told you countless times; call me Brian," he said.
"Yeah, yeah, I know Mr. Bailey," I replied back.
Looking at me with a hopeless expression, he asked, "How are you, Jenna".
"I'm perfectly fine, Mr. Bailey", I replied back with a teasing smile on my face.
Talking to Brian sometimes reminded me of when I used to talk to my father about everything. Brian took care of me after both of my parents died, well, were murdered, but that is a topic for another day. He is easy to talk to and gives the best hugs.
After spending about 10 minutes more talking to Brian, I headed towards the classroom to prepare for the last class of the day.
15 minutes later, the students came back from their lunch break. Making sure they were all seated, I started.
"Okay guys, today we'll be painting our favorite thing in the whole world", I said in a happy voice.
"Who wants to paint first", I asked."Me", they all replied back in a cheerful voice.
With a short laugh, I told them that they would all be starting at the same time.
"Okay, everyone, begin," I said while taking a seat at my desk.*****
The bell rang to dismiss them after class. Leading them to the front of the school, I watched all their parents coming to pick them up, and it made me miss mine even more.
Dismissing my sad thoughts, I watched as the last few students left before I headed inside for my bag to head home. On the bus, I couldn't help but get this feeling that something was going to happen.
Getting off the bus as soon as it stopped, I couldn't help but get the feeling that I was being watched. I turned around to check, but there was no one there, so I just shrugged it off and continued walking home.
Reaching home, I immediately took off my shoes and went to heat up some leftovers in the fridge. After it was finished, I took it out and let it cool a little before I started eating.
After I was finished eating, I made my way upstairs to my room.
Walking inside my room, I saw a piece of paper laying on my pillow. Thinking it was probably a note from Jess, I took it up, and it's content left a horrified expression on my face. The note said, "I'm back, my dear niece, and I'm coming for you".
He's back.
