Knock! Knock!
Mason opened the door and looked at me," Woah. You look gorgous."
" You look sexy. Well Happy Birthday baby!"
He laughed," Thanks, come on in." He stepped aside and I walked in. I set his present on his kitchen table and put a platter of shrimp on the island. He came up and we hugged I said," Happy Birthday again my love."
" I love you too. You look so pretty right now."
I blushed," Thanks!" I heard a knock on the door and ran to it. It was Sage and Carter! I hugged both of them and let them in. Sage yelled out," Where's the birthday boy?"
Mason called," In here, eating all this shrimp."
Then I yelled out," Mason! Those are for the guests!" I laughed.
Mason walked in and turned a football game. Carter sat down next to him. Sage and I walked into the kitchen to look at a couple secret wedding magazines. I set Mason's present on the table. Sage and Carter are moved in together and they've been saying the 'i love yous' for awhile now. So Sage thinks its going to happen soon, Carter will propose. We flipped through and then I heard the door. I peeked into the living room and Mason got up and opened the door. It was Marshall and Ryan, they were both holding gift bags for Mason.
I've already met Ryan, who was Mason's old roomate but then he moved out because he finished college early. Mason and I have been talking about moving in together in Maine, but we haven't decided on anything yet.
I walked up to the boys and Mason said," Marshall, this is my girlfriend, Molly."
We shook hands," Nice to meet you Marshall."
" You too."
They sat down on the couch and watched the game. Mason
said," Everyone this is Marshall and this is Ryan." He introduced everyone else to them and I put the bags on the kitchen table. Sage and I continued to read through the magazines.
After about an hour, Chris and Chelsea finally showed up. I ran to the door and opened it," Chris! Chelsea!"
They smiled and walked in. We hugged and Chelsea and I went into the kitchen with Sage. We kept hearing cheers from the boys and we all laughed. Mason ordered pizza for delivery. We all sat down in the living room and ate the pizza.
After the game everyone left and it was just me and Mason. We were sitting on the couch.
Mason said," I graduate from here in two weeks."
" I graduate in three."
" Then..."
" We go to Maine. Right?"
" I sure hope so. I love you so much and I really want to live with you. I can't wait."
" I love you too. I'm nervous though, what if your family doesn't like me?"
" What! Molly, they will love you!"
" So when do I get to meet them?"
" I don't know, once we graduate?"
" So three weeks!"
He laughed," I can't wait. You and I in Maine, living together."
I looked at him and kissed him. I think I have found the love of my life.
It's funny how just one pair of shoes, can change your whole life. I mean I probably would have married Hunter, maybe I wouldn't have gone to college or something. I am glad to have my friends and to have Mason in my life.
