She watched. Her eyes ran up and down the village in search of the chief. she already knew he wasn't at bis house, the blacksmith's, healers and she couldn't see him near the woods. there was only one other place he could be, then. When she realised this, she gave the dragon a small nudge, sending them plummeting down towards the docks, weaving in and out of torches. She supressed the urge to cry out, the exhilaration nearly overpowering her wits, but to cry out is to reveal herself, and that was NEVER an option, yet when the dragon swooped upwards, she let out a quiet 'whoop'. She couldn't even hear herself, the wind rushed past her ears and her eyes, freezing her hands and chilling her nose, rendering four out of five senses useless. she had gotten used to it. the dragon trusted her, no matter what, and she trusted the dragon, no matter what. some days Liv would say that they shared the same soul.
