Neha's POV:

I saw Bhai waiting outside the college. Well, I got a little late after class as I was busy staring at Rudraksh. I didn't realize, so now I have to hear a big lecture. Neha thought while walking towards Rajveer.

"Oh, aagai, madam kisake khvaabon mein khoee hue ho?" Rajveer asked.
(Madam, in whose dreams are you lost?)

"No one. Why did you ask? Well, we are already late, so let's go." Saying this, Neha sat in the car.

He sat in the car and started to drive. Suddenly, he asked, "Do you want to say something? You seem lost."

"Umm, actually Aisha invited me to their house for an assignment, so can you help me get permission from Dad?"

"Hmm, yeah, but I don't think Aisha and you have the same course, so how are you going to help her?" Rajveer asked.

"Hehe, it's Rudraksh who wants help with the assignment, and they both live together, so Aisha came up with this idea."

"And why can't you do this assignment in college?" Rajveer asked while raising an eyebrow.

"Oh, the due is in two days, and you know tomorrow college is closed, so we won't get time to make it. Also, why are you interrogating me?"

"I'm not; I was just asking. I will get your dad's permission for you."

"Also, can you come with me to their place? Please, I told them you would also come," Neha said while making a puppy face.

"Don't make that face; you look like a duck, and I ain't going to that spoiled brat's house ever," Rajveer said in a deadpan voice.

"Why? What is the problem, and why are you guys calling each other names like that?" Neha asked.

"Because I don't want to, and why the hell is she calling me names? She was the one who threatened me."

"Bhaiya, please come with me. I know you don't want to go, but it will be fun; she is a fun-to-be-with person. I don't know what she said, but you can give her another chance."

"I can't understand, Neha. Why do you want me to get involved with them?" Rajveer said in a slightly irritated tone.

I just want you to make friends, have fun, and behave like the youngster you are. You are just 23, but you always behave like a grumpy old man.

So what? I want to be like that. I am comfortable, and as a youngster, I just want to complete my studies and fulfill my dreams.

What dreams, bhai? Tell me, what is your dream? Did you ever give yourself time to dream, huh? Since childhood, I have seen you focus only on your studies, and you aced everything you did. But did you ever like or love doing that? Why don't you let your heart get attached to anything? Neha said with a pained voice.

"Tu nahin samajhega, chhoti. Bahut mushkil hai. Ye bolane se nahin hota sab," Rajveer said with emotion that was difficult to explain. (You won't understand, little one. It is very difficult; everything is not done by speaking.)

Neha sighed and said, "I can't win against you, but please think once. Believe me, these things you can experience only once, and finding the real one is rare."

How do you know they are the real ones?

Neha chuckled and said, "My heart tells me, and I believe it."

We reached. "Let's take Uncle's permission first."

With Aisha:
"Seems like someone had a great time talking," Aisha said with her usual mischievous tone.

"Shut up! Let's go; we also have to clean the apartment. You could have at least asked me before inviting her."

"Yeah, don't pretend like you aren't excited about this."

"I am, but our apartment is a literal mess! Aisha, what about those pizza boxes that are spread everywhere? Also, our fridge is filled with leftovers. Our rooms are a mess; OUR WHOLE HOUSE IS A MESS!" Rudraksh said with a dramatic cry.

"Okay, okay, calm down. Chill! We are still not sure if she is coming, and if she is, it's too early for her to see your room. We can manage the fridge and the hall; I don't think they are coming for inspection."

Fine, first we have to shop for some food that we can make. Also, we need to clean the house.

Okay, let's go. Have you not made the assignment, or are you just going along with my lie?

I didn't make it; you just made it easy for me, or I have to do it alone by compromising my precious sleep, Rudraksh said while laughing.

Well, that means I didn't lie even a little bit. I think you should start to consider me your guardian angel.

Not an angel, but a devil you are for sure to me.

Yeah, I know. Now let's go and do some shopping, sweetheart.

Eww, yuck! Don't call me that; it doesn't suit you, missy. Hehe.

Well, do you want me to do something tomorrow if she comes, like getting you both some personal time with each other? Aisha said with a grin.

You can, well, I would love to, but the cost shouldn't be her brother's life.

Well, I have another plan for him. You know, killing will be too boring. So to make things spicy, we will play a little game, Aisha said with a crazy smirk.

OK, I think we should go to the apartment now; we have to clean it, ya.

After reaching the apartment, it was around nighttime when they arrived.

They started to clean the apartment when Aisha said, "Neha messaged that they will come around 2 tomorrow. I am sending her the address."

"Okay, so clean the apartment properly, and I am going to remove the leftovers from the fridge. AND DON'T TAKE SHORTCUTS," Rudraksh said in an ordering tone.

"Yeah, I know. Okay, no need to order. I also don't want her and that jerk to think we live in this mess. Well, we do, but they aren't going to know."

"Stop talking to yourself, Aisha; do the work," Rudraksh yelled from the kitchen.

"Yeah, but by God, we didn't even clean this much when Dad visited us. You have to give me a big treat for this."

"Yeah, I will. For now, focus on work and don't talk now...."
