Sodor Blackout Remastered

August 4th, 1984

Log 1

Oh god, I knew something was going to happen. We were at Knapford picking up a midnight goods train to take to Barrow n Furness. Molly was also at the station with a local Passenger train and Neville passed by with a goods train for the facility, whistling as he did so and Donald and Molly whistled back. 

The two engines were chatting to each other when we heard a loud explosion. The people on the platform began to scream in fear and ran for Molly's Coaches. The air raid sirens then began to blare out in the distance warning us of the danger, then we heard an all two familiar whistle as Duck ran past with a goods train telling us to run as he went down the Elsbridge Branch. 

Donald then told Molly to run down the branchline and he would go down the mainline, Molly agreed and as soon as everyone got into her coaches she ran down the branchline after Duck. I then released the brakes, hit the regulator and we sped out of the station and down the mainline.

Log 2

As we raced down the line at a very fast speed we noticed a swarm of mist was starting to appear but we kept going. While we were running we saw Arthur heading the opposite direction pulls a slow goods train, we then heard the sound of his brakes screeching followed by his screaming that was cut short by a loud crash. We aren't too sure what happened to him though. 

As we were approaching Elsbridge the points were switched and we went down the other way towards Crosby. As we passed over the viaduct we saw Gordon going in the opposite direction, Donald tried to tell him to go back but Gordon was already out of ear shot, I just hope he's okay.

As we approached Wellsworth the points were set into the yard, Donald swerved into the yard and I applied the brakes and we came to a stop in the goods shed after bumping into the buffers.

 We then went to check on Donald and he looked traumatized all he did was look down at his buffers not saying a word. Me and Wallace kept trying to calm him down but it took us some time.

Log 3

After a while we finally got Donald to calm down but Donald was worried about Douglas and where he could be and I honestly can relate to him as I am wondering where my twin brother is too. Wallace is also worried about Felix (James' Driver) as Felix is his older brother. Donald then told us that before we were sent towards Crosby he saw some smoke in the distance through the mist which meant it was coming from the facility so goodness knows if Molly, Gordon, Duck, Arthur, Neville and Thomas are still even alive. We decided to sleep the night at Wellsworth and we'll be heading out tomorrow to find survivors, I just everyone is ok, I really really do.
