Chapter 26 : Friends ?

At CFL Capital Green Apartments ,

Shiv glared at Rhea , who stood at the other side of his apartment's door. God why is this girl so annoying. He was frustrated now.

Shiv - What.Do.You.Want. ?

Rhea - Come on don't be like that I'm just trying to be a nice neighbour.

Shiv - Well I don't like neighbours now go away.

Rhea - What ? No. Please I'm just being friendly why are you being rude ?

Shiv - Because you are annoying , irritating , and dumb.Now leave me alone. Can't you see I don't want to be "friends" with you.

Rhea - But why ?

Shiv - GET LOST !

At Malhotra Mansion ,

Pranjali put on her fakest sweet smile and approached Tanu. And almost mockingly hitted her shoulder. Tanu turned around at once with an irritated expression on her face.

Tanu - Yes ma'am ?

Pranjali - Looks like you've learnt a lot of manners Mrs.Mehra. Good.

Gritting her teeth Tanu looked at Pranjali , who just smiled in return.

Pranjali - But you know there are people who can't seem to let other people live.

Tanu - Huh ? I- what do you mean ?

Pranjali scoffed and looked around as if to check if anyone was eavesdropping. Tanu just stood there confused.

Pranjali - Arey I mean you shouldn't trust anyone in today's world. Not everyone is trustworthy like me.

Tanu - Will you stop beating around the bush ? Speak clearly.

Pranjali - Just be careful choosing your allias Mrs.Tanushree Mehra , everyone has an evil side. You don't know when they turn their backs on you.

And with that Pranjali left but not without turning to see Tanu once again and pass the fake smile. Tanu was confused who was Pranjali talking about ?

In Alia's Servant Quater ,

Raj explained every detail of Tanu's plan to Alia. Never in a million years would've Alia thought that Tanu won't involve her in any plan. This was unacceptable, Alia was the who plotted not Tanu.

Raj - I think you should watch out Tanu might be scheming against all of us. She might just snatch all the property from the Malhotras and well you and I , we both know she won't hesitate to throw us out.

Alia - Shut up ! She won't be able to do anything against me. I've done many crimes in my life , doing one more won't have any effect over me.

Raj - What are you gonna do ?

Alia - Something you don't have to know.

In Pragyas' Room ,

Pragya and Pranjali sat pondering over the last few clips of CCTV footage.

Pragya - Where did this Alia go to ?

Pranjali - Don't know. But one thing is for sure she's planning something , I can tell. She behaves way too nicely with everybody these days.

Pragya - Wahi toh yeh kutte ki dum kabhi sidhi nhi ho sakti

Pranjali - Pta toh lagana padega aur jaldi pta lagana hoga

At Neon Ring Cafe ,

Sheetal glared across the table and at the side chair one by one. Either Shiv thought she was an idiot or he was one for sure. Pursing her lips and offering the most sugar coated smile she could muster up she decided to know whatever the fuck was happening.

Sheetal - Shiv

Shiv - Sheetal

Sheetal - What is "she" doing here ?

Rhea - Look I'll tell you , so Shiv was-

Sheetal - I'm speaking to my fiancee so girl you better shut that ugly mouth of yours

Rhea wanted to retort with an insult but knew better than to make Sheetal angry because of two things. First, Sheetal was scary as hell. Second, she didn't really want to create a scene infront of Shiv.

Shiv - I was coming here and she tagged along. I told her not to but she insisted and well here we are.

Sheetal - You refused ? So Rhea just get up and leave as I suppose Shiv doesn't want you here. And about me you know I absolutely despise your existence.

Rhea - But since I am here let's just all have a friendly day out whats say ?

Sheetal - Shall I kick you out whats say ?

Rhea looked at Shiv. And Shiv just requested her to get up and leave.
Having no choice Rhea got up and left but not before throwing the nastiest look towards Sheetal , who didn't really bother to repeat the childish action.

At Malhotra Mansion ,

Mishti and Abhay sat together holding their coffee mugs. Maybe a good talk was all she needed to liberate herself from the sorrow of her always fucked up life.

Mishti - I'm really sorry for behaving like that. I shouldn't have.

Abhay - Hey it's fine you are the one going through such a situation.The anger and frustration is justified. No hard feelings.

Mishti - How are you so chill ? Anybody else would've probably thrown a tantrum or something.

Abhay - I'm not "anybody else". Plus who can be angry with such a gorgeous girl.

A smile formed on her lips. It was the first time in weeks Mishti found herself smiling freely. She would soon forget that a Kohli family existed , she would she knew.

At Shree Saree Shop , Delhi

Alia walked in and went straight to the last counter. The shopkeeper turned around and showed her some sarees. But it wasn't like Alia was there to shop. She had some work to do.

Alia - Did you pass my message ?

Shopkeeper - Yes I did. What about my payment ?

Alia - You'll receive it after everything is done.

Shopkeeper - Fine but don't you dare double cross me

Alia rolled her eyes these boys surely knew how to play dumb.
