At Malhotra Mansion,
The police arrived after twenty minutes. The investigation began. Pranjali just watched with a sense of satisfaction, slowly, but Tanu did fall. The ever so prideful woman murdered in cold blood.
Pragya remembered the words Tanu spoke last night. Maybe Tanu was wrong but murder ? Not that she was sympathising no she won't ever have sympathy for a woman who was hell bent on making her miserable. Eyes trailing along the hall she caught sight of Abhi, still at the same spot, maybe the sight hit him way too hard.
The body was taken away for post mortem. And the interrogation would start from tomorrow.
Mitali - God, Raj please let's leave this place we aren't safe here. Just like Tanu we would be killed any second too.
Pragya - Mitali Mehra you can't leave from here.
Raj - Why ? We can leave from here. We don't wanna do your job anymore.
Pragya - It's not about the job you dumbass. It's about the interrogation who knows maybe you or that wife of yours did something.
Mitali - Are you trying to say we murdered Tanu ?
Pranjali - We didn't. But you can't leave. Atleast not till all this mess is sorted.
Raj - But we-
Reyansh - Did you not hear what she said ? Move to your rooms now.
In the servant quarters,
Alia gave Abhi a glass of water. Abhi the first one to see the body was still shocked.
Alia - It's alright bhai jo hona tha woh ho gya na aap kuch kar sakte hai na koi aur.
Abhi - You don't get it Alia. It was so bloody. Everywhere it was just....red.
Alia - I get it but what can we even do now ? Bhai tell me truthfully.....did you do anything in anger ?
Abhi - What are you implying ?
Alia - I'm saying that you are drunk half of the time maybe Tanu said something which angered you and....
Abhi - And what ?! I killed her ?! How could you even think something like that ?!
Alia - How could I ?! You were the first one to reach the body ! Of course I would be suspicious! And let's not fool anyone you were not really fond of Tanu!
Abhi - That doesn't mean I'll go and kill her while I'm drunk! Yes I loathed her still do but killing someone is not something I can do. But maybe someone like you can easily do that.
Alia's head snapped towards him. Abhi on the other hand didn't looked like he regretted those words instead he stood there with a expression that said that "it was true and she should accept it".
Pranjali's Room,
The dart board, now with Tanu's picture removed from it, was empty. Pranjali went through the last of her targets. Just a few more people. And this would end.
Reyansh - See baby ? I told you this so called "family" is not the very close knitted one.
Pranjali - Family, don't insult that word using it for these monsters.
Reyansh - But I told you. Money matters to them the most. Like that line "na baap bada na bhaiya sabse bada rupaiyaa" fit hoti hai inlogo pe.
Pranjali - Kitni berehmi se qatal hua na ?
Reyansh - Berehmi ? Oh please the amount of sins they have committed ? Lord forbide narak mein alag se saza hai in sab ke liye.
Pranjali - Narak ? They won't get a place even there. The satan would be scared that Alia Mehra might try to overthrow him.
Reyansh - I swear she would.
Pragya's Room,
Vansh lay back on the bed while Pragya just sat there thinking. He noticed it but decided not to comment on it maybe she was just a bit shook from the incident.
Pragya - Who do you think did it ?
Vansh - I... don't know. Can't just take anyone's name like that. It's not something so small.
Pragya - Right....but if you think about it. Who do you think would have done it ?
Vansh - Maybe Alia.
Pragya - Why her ?
Vansh - That woman just creeps me out at some point so...but then again maybe she didn't who knows.
Pragya - Hmmm.... it's so weird na ? Like Tanushree died, just like that. And no one in this whole damn house heard her shout or anything.
Vansh - That's exactly it. How could no one hear her ? Her throat was slitted there is no way she didn't scream for help. And the vase it was also broken so I'm sure that she struggled to you know save herself.
Pragya - Something is definitely off. The last I saw Tanu, she was fine, sitting by the pool, talking to herself. And the next morning her dead was at the same spot.
Vansh - I think I'll get a headache from all this. Can you please get me the medicine for it ?
Pragya - Yeah one minute.
Downstairs in the hall,
Mishti wrapped her arms around Abhay. She was so sick and tired of everything. It's like everyday she wakes up there is a new problem waiting for her.
Abhay - Don't worry. It not our fault. We don't have anything to do with this.
Mishti - I know but still. She was murdered, anyone could be killed next. I am just worried for all of us.
Abhay - All of us ? Your family too ?
Even though Mishti knew he commented that too lighten the mood. But she couldn't really deny that she was still facing problems with all that bullshit.
Mishti - Not everyone is my family. Just dad....I mean Mr.Kohli. He didn't really do anything to me, did he ? He probably was the only person who actually showed he cared for me.
Abhay - Hey don't get sad over them. As long as it's about Mr.Kohli, yeah he showed that he cared but if he had shown some courage to stand up infront of his wife and mother maybe this won't be happening at all.
Mishti - Well he has a scary wife doesn't he ?
Abhay just laughed at it with Mishti joining him shortly. Vikram smiled at them from the kitchen.
Vikram - Kaabil toh nhi hu lekin shayad ek din tum maaf kar dogi mujhe issi umeed mein apni zindagi guzaarne mein bhi koi gham nhi ab.
Dida - Kaabil ? She should be the one asking for forgiveness. Firstly we are the ones who fed her all those years and this girl isn't even repaying us !
Vikram - Meri beti hai aur usko koi karz nhi chukana mera ! Apne aur Pallavi ne usko jitna kuch kaha hai na sab maloom hai mujhe toh please chup rahiye.
Dida decided to stop speaking it was the first time Vikram was talking to her like this. But what wrong was she saying ? Mishti should repay her. It was all her fault.
