CHAPTER 1

CHAPTER 1:

Dongsaeng.

Andito ako ngayon sa may field. Pinapanood ko si Umin hyung maglaro ng soccer. Favorite ko rin ang soccer pero tinatamad akong maglaro, kaya sabi ko manonood na lang ako sa kanya. Buti na lang talaga at may puno dito kaya pwede akong magstay. Isinandal ko ang likod ko sa puno. 

 "Hyung," napatingin ako sa tumawag. 

"O, Sehun? Dito upo ka." he nodded then immediately sat on the space beside me.

"Why are you here?" I asked him, full of curiosity. Dahil ang alam ko ay may klase pa sila. Well, kami ni Xiumin hyung ay wala nang klase kaya pwede na kaming tumambay. 

He just shrugged.

"Di ba may klase ka?!" he just looked at me with his goddamn poker face. Ugh! "Hey, tinatanong kita!" 

 "Hyung, can you shut up? Napuyat ako kagabi, okay?" he said then rested his head on my shoulders. Etong batang 'to talaga!

 Wait. Napuyat? "Bakit, what did you do? You're with Kai last night right? Anong ginawa nyo?" he didn't respond. Maaga akong mamamatay sa katahimikan ni Sehun. 

God! I slightly pushed him.

Nakapikit lang sya, I don't think na tulog na sya. "Hey," I said, calling his attention.

"You know, it's better to sleep in your class than to ditch it!" I said, iniangat nya naman ang ulo nya. 

Ngumisi sya, "Wow hyung, mas gusto mo pang matulog ako sa klase kesa magcut ng class? Wow." he said.

Napaisip ako. Tanga mo talaga, Lu! "Ah, I mean, at least dun, may attendance ka. Idiot." Nagkibit-balikat na naman sya. Nahiga naman sya sa tabi ko. 

 Ibinalik ko na lang ang tingin ko sa field. Kumaway si Umin hyung, I waved back. Inilagay nya ang dalawa nyang kamay sa gilid ng bibig nya, then shouted, "Come here, Lu! Join me!" Tumingin naman ako kay Sehun bago tumayo, "Stay there you lil idiot!" I said tapos tumakbo na papunta kay Umin hyung. 

 Kawawa naman kasi ang bata, kanina pa ako pinipilit! I mentally laughed, for sure Minseok hyung will go nuts if he knew that I called him a kid. Well, he's the oldest among us pero sya ang pinakamukhang bata. Nakakainggit!  

We played there for like more than an hour and sweat's dripping all over my body. 

"That's tiring." Minseok hyung said, still catching his breath. I nodded. Pumunta kami sa pwesto ni Sehun. Pinanood nya lang kami kanina while playing.

"Se, can you get my water inside my bag?" he just stared at me for a while then he reaches for my bag and searched for my bottled water. Agad nya naman itong inabot. I said my thanks. 

"Ah Lu, pwedeng maki-inom sayo? Ubos na kasi yung akin." Minseok asked, "Yea, no biggie." 

It's normal for us, na magpalitan o maghirapan ng gamit o kaya'y gamitin yung mga gamit ng isa't-isa. We're bestfriends anyway.

I handed him my bottled water when I finished drinking. Agad nya naman itong kinuha, at ininuman.

"Thanks Lu!" he said. I just smiled at him. 

Napatingin ako sa kaliwa ko, Sehun's looking at me. "You want to drink too?" I asked him, he just shook his head. Bahagyang magkasalubong ang mga kilay nya pero poker face pa rin ito. 

"You want to go home?" I asked him, baka kasi masama pakiramdam nya. "You can go." 

"No, I'm okay." he said.

"Sure?" he just nodded. 

 "Uhh, Lu," Umin hyung called me, "Una na ako. Jong--- I mean I need to leave, may pupuntahan pa kasi kami--- a-ah, ako pala!" he said then laughed awkwardly. I just nodded. "Sure, ingat ha!" he smiled. 

"Bye Se." 

"Ingat hyung." 

"Masama ata ang pakiramdam. He's in a rush." I said after Minseok hyung left. Sehun just shrugged his shoulders off.

Nahiga ulit sya sa damo. Ang tahimik. 

Umirap ako. "Can you talk more than a sentence?" I asked him. Tinignan nya lang ako. Mukhang di sya sasagot kaya nahiga na lang ako sa tabi nya. Enough space between the two of us. 

"That's why you're my favorite hyung." he said then grinned. 

I blink a few times, hindi ako napuwing or something! He just grinned at me, the poker faced Sehun grinned at me! I'm proud to myself dahil I just make Oh Sehun grinned at me and at the same time, he spoke more than 5 words! 

"Se!" he didn't respond.

After the long moment of silence, he spoke, 

"Luhan." 

"Hyung." I corrected him. 

"Okay, hyung. Let's go?" he asked. Tumango ako at agad nang tumayo para makauwi na. 

 It's a tiring but enjoying day after all
