Foiled Plots... Childe x Male Reader

ACT ONE. PART THREE. ABYSSAL PRINCE.

I teleported to my home in Liyue, not to far from the waypoint. I had said an awkward goodbye to Diluc, after Scaramouche had walked out like that. Throwing my shit in the ground, I sat on the edge of my bed. Taking off my cape and jewelry, i placed my visions on the table. I removed my shirt, shoes, and socks before getting comfortable in my bed. I was about to turn off the light before i heard a knock at the door. I sighed, wiping my eyes as i stood. I opened the door, seeing Childe. He looked at me with a surprised face, his cheeks slightly turning pink with blush.

"Is something wrong?" I asked him, questioning his reasons for visiting me so late.

"N-no i just- i heard about the news and wanted to see what you were doing." He said, embarrassed.  I scratched my neck, pushing my hair back. The wind blew through it, making it tangled and making my body shiver.
"Come in, Childe. It's cold." I said, stepping to the side and beckoning for him to follow. He stepped in hesitantly, turning to watch as i led the way to the living room. He had been here before, why was he acting so nervous? I sat on the couch, leaning against the back of it. In public i try to maintain my image as best as i can, but it doesn't matter around childe. Instead of my usual legs crossed, straight posture, i was leaning back against the couch with my legs spread in an ungentalmanly way. He sat at the chair opposite of me, still looking a little nervous.
"Are you ok?" I asked him.

"Yeah yeah of course! What made you say that?" He said, though i could see through him. He was rubbing his thumb in circles. He usually did that when he was nervous. He was also biting his lip a few seconds ago. He saw me glance at his hands, separating them and grabbing the arm rests of the chair.
I squinted my eyes at him, deciding to brush it off. Deciding to start up conversation, i asked about something that was weighing on my mind.

"What ever ended up happening to the Abyss Order after their attack on Mondstadt?" I asked, observing Childes sudden acknowledgment of of my question.

"Well, they've laid off for a moment. Actually, that reminds me. A while back we had contact with some Abyss Lectors trying to communicate with us. They actually requested you, Y/n." Childe said, a look with a small tinge of jealousy.

"Why me?" I asked, raking me hand through my hair before it got tangled on my earring, i forgot i had on. I never take off my necklace or first set of earrings. The silver jewelry was cold against my fingers as i tried to separate the hair from the metal.

"Ow- my hair got stuck in my earring." I said quietly, letting childe know to pause the conversation. I tugged on it, only having it reply by not coming undone. These earrings were special and couldn't be taken off, so the fact that my hair was all tangled made me a little pissed. Childs stood, walking over. He got on one knee, his face close to mine as he put one hand on my chin, the other grabbing my hand away from my face.

"Let me help, Y/n." He said, placing my hands down and tilting my face to the side with his hand before using his other hand to get the hair away from my earring. His slender fingers fumbled it for a second, failing to get it out.
"Their Prince seems to have an eye for you." he scoffed, sounding very jealous.
I watched him up close, seeing his smooth skin and his sparkling eyes made him look attractive. Not that he wasn't already attractive. I blushed, trying to push the thoughts out of my mind that i couldn't help. I felt his eyes gaze over my body, trying to be sneaky while he pretended to work on my earring, just wanting to stay over here with me. I felt his face get closer, as if he was trying to see. His loosened collar on his shirt dangled a little off his chest. i could see his defined muscles, his large chest. he was a good fighter, in top condition for his role. I caught myself staring, trying to look away.I could feel his breathing in my neck as he got closer, still working in my earring.
"Something's telling me that you are purposely taking too long to do this." I said, watching his eyes flicker as if he was snapping back into thought.He pulled his fingers from my ear immediately, the earring and hair separated. He stood up, stepping back a little.
"Thank you, childe." I said, nodding to him. A cold breeze of air blew into the room and i shivered a little bit, forgetting i didn't have a shirt on, and was only in my loose boxers. I put my arms on my lap to cover myself a little so it wasn't awkward that i was sitting here virtually naked. I stood, motioning for him to follow me. I walked into my room, gesturing to the space.
"Here make yourself at home i'm going to shower now since i can't sleep." I watched as he sat on my bed, throwing himself backwards. He had been here enough times to make it his at this point. I walked into the bathroom that connected to the room, turning on the warm water and soaking it up. I washed my hair then my body, stepping out. I grabbed a towel to dry myself, using it on my hair before tying it around my waist. I walked out of the bathroom, gathering Childes attention as i did, and walked to my closet. I opened it, bending down a little to grab some new boxers, a pair of shorts and a tank top. I closed the closet door behind myself, putting in the shorts and underwear before opening it back up. I put on the tank top as i walked and jumped into bed, pretended to land on top of childe. He yelped, rolling to the side before i could crush him. He laughed, laying there beside me on the bed.
"You can stay here tonight if you want." I said to him, watching his face turn a light pink before he coughed, putting his hand to his mouth to cover it.
"Sure."
