Crashed (a max verstappen story)

Floras POV 

The race flies past, i don't even fully comprehend where i am until two cars crash in front of me. I quickly dodge them and at the same time i overtake, max and another driver, meaning I'm in front of everyone.

 Just as i overtake max the checkered flag is waved and oh my god I've just won my first race in f1. I scream with excitement so loud the radio gives out for a second. I drive to the dedicated spot for the winner and jump out of my car faster than i can even drive and run over to the team.

 I jump and squeal, i see Arthur come over and i jump on him as well.

 "I DID IT ART I FUCKING DID IT!" i yell hugging him. i can see the excitement in his eyes but i can also feel the sadness that he isn't in my position. "you'll be here next to me soon as well. Don't sweat it." i whisper in his ear through my helmet.

 I got to my interview and get it over with quickly, the only thing i get asked is about Jules, not how I'm the first female to win an f1 race or anything like that. I go to the cool off room and skull two bottles of water, few minutes later, max and Lando come in, Lando jumps to congratulate me max just ignores me.

 We head to the podium and receive our trophies and medals. We shower each other with champagne the smile i have not moving an inch. We shower our teams as well.

 We finish all interviews and i head back to my hotel, i shower and put on a nice dress, i meet up with Arthur at a bar and he has clearly invited the other drivers.

 "hey Arthur, some warning would have been nice, I've never met these guys before." i whisper in his ear. He giggles clearly already a bit tipsy. "this is Lando, he was on podium with you, that's Oscar he's the other McLaren. then we've got Pierre and Esteban but you already know them. Yuki, Liam and Daniel they drive for alpha tauri, Lewis and George." he nudges me knowing how much i used to fan girl over Lewis. "Charles is coming soon with max and Alex and then logan is coming with the other Alex." he said finishing his statement.

 i introduced myself to everyone that was there and shortly after the others arrived, i greeted Charles and Alex with a hug and introduced myself to the other Alex and logan, max just looked at me and rolled his eyes. 

"what's she doing here?" he said pointing at me. I looked at him and rolled my eyes

 "incase you didn't know Verstappen, i won, that's right i beat you twice, so lay off or it'll be the be a third time." i said getting in his face, all of the other drivers laughed, except for Charles and Alex who were getting ready to pull me of of him.

 I walked back to the bar and ordered shots for me and Arthur we drank them and went to the dance floor. I'd never really noticed how attractive Arthur was but seeing him laugh and have fun in this environment flicked a switch in me. I knew i loved him, but was i in love with him?
