✩‧₊˚ - WHEN AYAH AWOKE FROM HER SLEEP, the morning sunlight shone through the bedroom window, casting an orange glow on the space.
The brunette opened her eyes wide and slowly sat up, gathering her thoughts from the previous day. She turned her head to the side, squinted at the sunlight through the window, gasped, and then quickly took out her phone to check the time.
Ayah rubbed her eyes again to make sure the time was right before widening them at the phone. She shot to her feet, racing to the other bedroom.
"Miles I swear⎯" She exhaled angrily, then furrowed her brows at seeing the bedroom empty.
With her head raised to the clock, the girl read the time as "quarter past ten".
The brunette hurried to the kitchen, looked around the dorm, and then sat down to discover that her roommate had left without waking her up.
