Jungwon had harbored a deeply unsettling intention to personally end Jay's life. His sinister plot involved taking the life of his own boyfriend, driven by an unfathomable rage stemming from the mere absence of a birthday text message at the stroke of midnight.
Furthermore, even after emerging from his slumber, Jay had not sent him any form of texts. Absent were the affectionate good morning messages or expressions of love through text. In fact, there was an utter absence of any message at all.
Despite the passage of a few days, the intensity of their obsession with each other remained unabated. However, Jungwon couldn't help but feel a sense of unease as he noticed that Jay had abruptly stopped sending him any text messages.
He was aware that if this turned out to be a prank, Jay would struggle to endure for an extended period of time without the comforting presence of Jungwon, the gentle caresses, affectionate kisses, and radiant smiles.
---
Jungwon was right. Jay struggled to cope without the usual affection he received from Jungwon. A sense of melancholy consumed him, causing the five boys to gather around him on the couch in Ni-ki's apartment, their concerned gazes fixed upon his despondent state.
He was feeling downhearted due to his inability to send affectionate messages to his beloved wonnie pookie wookie, patootie skrunkly, honey boo boo bear. He longed to greet them with good morning texts, shower them with declarations of love, and especially, offer heartfelt birthday wishes.
It was all Ni-ki's plan.
"Jay, you need to get up." Sunghoon exhaled wearily, extending a helping hand towards his motionless friend who remained firmly planted on the couch.
Jay's disheveled, ebony locks concealed his bloodshot eyes, which he clutched a pillow tightly against his chest, envisioning it as his beloved wonnie pookie wookie patootie skrunkly honey boo boo bear.
Heeseung couldn't help but let out a hearty laugh at Jay's antics, finding his behavior amusing. Meanwhile, Sunoo swiftly took hold of Jay's ear, causing the dark-haired guy to emit a low, pained groan.
"Ow ow ow!" Jay let out a series of pained yelps, causing Sunoo to react with an exasperated eye roll.
"Snap out of it, Jay. You need to cooperate for this plan to work." Sunoo scolded as the other man clicked his tongue and positioned himself in a sitting position on the couch.
"Man, it's crazy how you both used to hate each other so much now you both are obsessing over each other." Jake remarked. Ni-ki nodded in confirmation, and Jake couldn't help but feel a sense of irony. He had suspected all along that Ni-ki had been secretly orchestrating their growing affection, acting as a matchmaker behind the scenes.
"You need help." Ni-ki reached out and gently placed his hand on Jay's shoulder. However, Jay swiftly brushed Ni-ki's hand away.
"Alright now get up. We need to get to your new house soon cause Jungwon will wake up at any moment now." Heeseung stated after laughing his ass off at Jay's depressing behaviour.
Jay let out a heavy sigh and, wearing a cloud of gloom, reluctantly rose from his seat. He trudged towards the counter, his footsteps echoing with each heavy step, his heart heavy with a sense of despair. With a heavy heart, he reached out to retrieve his car keys, his fingers trembling as he grasped the cold metal.
