"Oh God! What am I supposed to do!! I'm not mentally or physically prepared for this!!" I shouted to myself while rushing out my door.
"Ok.. All I need to do is wait for Akarei.. Right here.." I said to myself standing in an awkward position.

'Huh? Who's that?' I thought to myself but soon later I realized it was Akarei.
"AKAREI, AKAREI! HURRY UP NOW!!!" I shouted towards Akarei as she picked up her pace.
"Obanai? Are you okay? Why are you standing here so early in the morning??" Akarei asked me. "No! I should be the one asking questions since you should know what day it is!!" I said trying to make it obvious.
Akarei stood there confused for a bit but then realized what I was talking about. "Oh! It's Valentine's Day! Is that why you were waiting for me? To get my help?" Akarei said with a smile.
"Yes! And I need help asap!!" I said while Akarei and I walked to her estate.
"So, how was the picnic and the shopping?" Akarei said while still walking and looking straight ahead. "It actually went better than I thought it would go to be honest" I said pretty confident.
"See, I told you that you had nothing to worry about, but.." Akarei said trailing off her sentence, "But what?" I said in a nervous tone, "Did something happen?" I asked.
"Are you sure you're ready to confess to her? This can be a really big step in you and Kanroji's relationship.." Akarei said turning her head towards me.
"Yeah.. I know.. This is a really big step but.. I think I can do it!" I said looking determined, "That's the spirit!" Akarei said.

"So.." Akarei said putting her luggage down, "Tell me about what happened with you and Mitsuri at the shopping center and your picnic."

I saw Akarei's jaw drop when she heard about what happened at the shopping center, to be honest I'd be shocked too..
"SHE SAID WHAT??!?!?!" Akarei shouted, "I KNOW! I ALMOST FELL WHEN I HEARD HER SAY THAT!!" I said laughing.
"Okay it's obvious she likes you back, so just go up to her and tell her" Akarei said cleaning one side of her scythe. "Okay yeah you are right! When I see her I'll go up to her and confess!! But.. I need your help to do that.." I said to Akarei.
"Are you serious.." Akarei said tired.

"I know the demon population has been increasing rapidly! I hope we can do something about it.." Mitsuri said.
"Mhm.." I said trying to look for Obanai until I found him behind a far tree. Obanai then gave me the signal to do my part.
"Hey Shinobu! Didn't you say you needed to help Tanjiro and his friend's wounds?? Hahaha.. That silly boy and his friends!! You should go!! Sorry Kanroji Shinobu has to go,!" I said pushing Shinobu away from the meeting grounds.
"It's okay don't worry!" Mitsuri said waving at us.
"But I don't really nee-" Akarei cut her off, "Yes you dooo!" I said pushing Shinobu to a far distance, gave Obanai a thumbs, and hid behind another tree.
𝙾𝚋𝚊𝚗𝚊𝚒 𝚙𝚘𝚟
'Okay.. I got this..' I thought to myself while picking up the flowers and walking towards Mitsuri.
"Oh hey Iguro! What brings you here?" Mitsuri said with her bright smile. 'I got this..' I thought to myself again.
"Mitsuri.. You have honestly been a great person to me, I just love your personality and I find it amazing how you can easily bond and be nice to everyone, not to mention how great of a hashira you are.." I said as my face got hot.
"Aww Iguro that's so sweet of you!" She said smiling. "So.. Mitsuri... I really wanted to say that.. I have massive feelings for you and that I want to be the person to cheer you up when you're sad and be with you until the end of time..Mitsuri will you be my Valentine?.." I said expecting a rejection.
Mitsuri stood there looking at me for a second shocked, "Oh.. It's okay.. You don't have to li-" I was cut off by Mitsuri hugging me. "Of course Iguro!! I feel the same way ever since you gave me my socks as a gift!" She said while tearing up and accepting the flowers.
"Wow.. I never really expected this.. But thank you Mitsuri, it really means a lot to me" I said, but I was caught by surprise from Mitsuri kissing me on the cheek.
"I'm really glad you confessed to me Iguro! I was way too scared to confess to you!" She said hugging me again. "I'm really glad.." Said hugging me tighter and I wrapped my arms around her and returned her hug.

I watched and smiled as Obanai and Mitsuri hugged each other. 'I'm happy they're together now' I thought to myself.
I was about to get up and leave until Obanai turned to me from a distance and said, "Hey Akarei, I wanted to thank you for helping me so I just wanted to return the favor" Obanai said.
I was confused until I felt a small tap on my shoulder and turned around.
"Rengoku?" I said a bit flustered and confused, "Hello Akarei.. I actually wanted to tell you that I have a lot of feelings for you.. And I wanted you to be my valentine" Rengoku said with a shy smile and holding up a flower to me.
"I-" I managed to say but then buried my face into my hands and started to tear up. "Akarei.. Is that.. A yes?" Rengoku asked. I responded with a slight nod with my hands in my face.
"Aww that's so sweet!" Mitsuri said. Rengoku then wrapped his arm around me and hugged me.
"I thought that if I got a happy ending you should too" Obanai said smiling while I returned Rengoku's hug.
